Abstract: An apparatus is provided for use in conjunction with a tiltable rectangular drafting table for producing perspective drawings within a working area centered on the table. The apparatus comprises a left side, right side and bottom holding means and an elongated drawing guide associated with each holding means. The extremities of the drawing guides which are located within the working area are pivotably joined at a juncture. Manual movement of the juncture causes simultaneous pivotal movement of the drawing guides about vanishing points in a manner to enable straight lines to be drawn for a perspective drawing.

Abstract: A braking assembly adapted for attachment to the extremity of a drafting parallel and to the underlying drafting table utilizes a stationary tensioned strand which engages locking means on the drafting parallel. The braking effect is secured by depressing a movable arm which urges a resilient pad into gripping engagement of the strand.

Abstract: A magnifying glass is supported by a first ball joint connection to a housing suspended by a second ball joint connection from the upper portion of a clamping means. The clamping means is provided at its lowermost extremity with opposed elongated jaws adapted to grip an elongated object such as a pencil. Spring means associated with said clamping means urge said jaws together. A stabilizing post attached to the upper extremity of said clamping means is adapted to rest atop the user's thumb to provide greater steadiness of the implement and attached magnifying glass device.

Abstract: A device for attachment to a triangular rule having longitudinal grooves contains a magnifying glass mounted in a manner to have several modes of positional adjustability. The device includes resilient clamping means which permit facile positioning of the device along the length of the surfaces of the rule. Stablizing means associated with said clamping means prevents the device from toppling during use.
