Abstract: A system includes a hand hygiene dispenser comprising a housing comprising an input for detecting hand sanitizing events when hand sanitizer is dispensed from a container, and a memory for storing the hand sanitizing events, a computing device configured to receive data from the hand hygiene dispenser regarding when one or more hand sanitizing events have occurred, and a calculation module configured to detect whether a predetermined amount of hand sanitizing solution is used, wherein detecting whether the predetermined amount of hand sanitizing solution is used including detecting a number of dispenser activations, measuring, by a sensor in communication with the calculation module, an amount of hand sanitizing solution within the container, and comparing the number of dispenser activations with the measured amount of hand sanitizing solution in the container.

Each hand hygiene dispenser can be associated with an individual user. A processor may determine dispensing rates of the plurality of hand hygiene dispensers for a plurality of predetermined time periods and each of the plurality of the hand hygiene dispensers is identified with an individual user. The average dispensing rate can be calculated taking a predetermined number of highest dispensing rates out of the plurality of predetermined time periods. The rates can be displayed to the users, and the users can be notified of proper hand hygiene compliance or if the average dispensing rate falls below a target threshold rate.

The at least one washcloth is infused with a cleaning solution that is compatible with the indwelling urinary catheter. A method of using the cleaning product for an indwelling urinary catheterized patient including providing an outer packaging film and at least one washcloth disposed within the film that is infused with a cleaning solution that is compatible with an indwelling urinary catheter, opening the outer packaging film to expose the at least one washcloth, removing the at least one washcloth from the outer packaging film, and cleaning a meatal and surrounding area of the patient with the at least one washcloth.
