  • Patent number: 11900815
Abstract: Technologies for providing augmented reality wayfinding experiences in ridesharing applications are provided. In some examples, a method for providing augmented reality wayfinding experiences can include determining a first location of an autonomous vehicle (AV) relative to a second location of a client device associated with a user that requested a ride from the AV; based on the first location of the AV relative to the second location of the client device, determining a direction from the second location of the client device to the first location of the AV; presenting, at the client device, a feed from a camera sensor associated with the client device, the feed including a local scene captured by the camera sensor; and presenting a virtual content overlay on the feed, the virtual content overlay including an indication of the direction from the second location of the client device to the first location of the AV.

  • Publication number: 20220412766
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to techniques for providing destination recommendations and improving the user experience of autonomous vehicle riders using sentiment analysis. In some aspects, a process of the disclosed technology includes steps for receiving a ride request, at a computing system of an autonomous vehicle (AV), wherein the ride request comprises trip information that specifies a pick-up location associated with a user, navigating the AV to the pick-up location to provide ride service for the user, receiving in-cabin sensor data associated with the user, and analyzing the in-cabin sensor data to determine a sentiment score associated with the user. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for generating a destination recommendation based on the trip information and the sentiment score. Systems and computer-readable media are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20210097862
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that when executed causes at least one processor to identify a parking space and submit a bid on the parking space. The parking space may be at a first location from a dynamic database listing available parking spaces in an area. The bid, if accepted, will reserve the parking space. The bid may be calculated using common criteria shared by an autonomous vehicle and other autonomous vehicles bidding for the parking space.
