Abstract: A method for joining at least two workpiece layers (1, 2) by introducing a connecting element (10) with a coating (15) applied externally to the connecting element (10), where the connecting element (10) is guided, in particular punched, through the first workpiece layer (1) by a ram (26), forming a cut surface (1), and penetrates at least partially into the second workpiece layer and is deformed by a die (21) such that it connects the at least two workpiece layers (1, 2) together in a form-fitting manner. The connecting element (10) is heated such that the coating (15) applied externally to the connecting element (10) melts and wets, in particular completely closes, the cut surface in the first workpiece layer (1); after a cooling process, the re-solidified coating (15) adheres to the cut surface of the first workpiece layer (1).

Abstract: The invention rotates to a method for producing an equipment part (1). According to the invention, the equipment part (1) is provided with a decorative skin (2) at least in some sections, wherein the decorative skin (2) is integrated with at least two differently colored and/or different structured material regions (2.1, 2.2) then are adjacent to one another along a separating line (3), wherein the separating line (3) of the material regions (2.1, 2.2) of the decorative skin (2) that are adjacent to one another is oriented in correspondence with a recess (12) of the equipment part (1) substantially pointing away from the visible side and then deepens into the recess (12) of the equipment part (1) in a form-closed manner in the area of the separating line (3) and is fastened in a bonded manner. Abstract: A device and method for producing two- or multi-color molded skins, in particular skins for a molding or component, includes a tub, in which at least two different materials can he arranged separately from one another, and a galvanic mold forming a molding or component that can be positioned relative to one another. A separating element, which separates the materials and protrudes over the tub, is introduced and positioned in the galvanic mold. Subsequently the materials are introduced separately from each other by the separating element in at least one layer in the galvanic mold.
