  • Publication number: 20240044744
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for the dynamic emulation of forced induction systems of propulsion sources, which comprises an inlet tube (2), an outlet tube (4), a turbine set (12), one or more electric compressors (14), a cooling means (20), a heating means (24), and a heat regulation means. The present invention also relates to a method comprising one or more of the following actions: regulating supply air pressure by controlling the rotation regime of the one or more electric compressors (14); controlling the operating conditions of the one or more electric compressors (14), using a safety means; regulating supply air temperature, using the heat regulation means; regulating the counterpressure of the outlet gases of the propulsion source (10), by modifying the geometry of the turbine of the turbine set (12).

  • Patent number: 11603810
Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine that comprises a first Brayton cycle comprising a mixed ionic-electronic conducting (MIEC) membrane that separates the O2 from the air such that the suctioned air current is free from N2; a second Brayton cycle combined in a binary manner with the first Brayton cycle and nested with a cycle selected from an Otto cycle and a diesel cycle performed by means of oxy-combustion. The second Brayton cycle transmits mechanical energy and thermal energy from exhaust gases to the first Brayton cycle. The first Brayton cycle provides to the second Brayton cycle compressed O2 from the MIEC membrane. By means of the present engine, the NOx emission into the atmosphere is prevented by the separation of N2 in the MIEC membrane.

  • Publication number: 20230036416
Abstract: The invention relates to a refrigeration method and equipment for cooling the inside of a container, or a coolant circulating in a refrigeration circuit of a vehicle and/or of a supercharger, which uses an air current as a working fluid and comprises the steps of: compressing; cooling in coolers coupled to an ejection cycle; expanding, to reduce the temperature of the air current and obtain mechanical energy from same; refrigerating, to allow an exchange of thermal energy between the air current resulting from the expansion step and the coolant of the refrigeration circuit or the inside of the container; and regenerating, to allow an exchange of thermal energy between the air current resulting from the compression step, reducing the temperature thereof, and the air current resulting from the regenerating step, increasing the temperature thereof.
