The electronic device includes one or more processors that, while the electronic device is in a locked state, control to detect whether the electronic device is lifted, in response to detecting that the electronic device is lifted, control to activate the display, obtain an image from a camera, detect a face included in the image, and perform authentication of a user based on the face being detected in the image. Based on a result of the authentication, the one or more processors switch a state of the electronic device from the locked state to an unlocked state and display an indicator for indicating that the electronic device is in the unlocked state.

Abstract: A method of inputting user commands, and an electronic apparatus using the same. A method of inputting user commands includes setting a function of an apparatus implemented with a touch screen based on a pressure level input to the apparatus, and if the touch is sensed after setting the function of the apparatus, executing the set function based on the touch. Accordingly, user commands can be input using touch and pressure.

The method includes displaying first information related to a first application on the first touch screen and displaying second information related to the first application on the second touch screen; receiving a first user input moving to the first touch screen on the second touch screen; and replacing the first information and the second information with a third information and a fourth information related to the first application on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to receiving the first user input, wherein each of the third information and the fourth information is displayed while being slidden in direction from the second touch screen to the first touch screen and the third information is displayed over a boundary between the first touch screen and the second screen during the sliding of the third information and the fourth information.
