Abstract: An inkjet printhead chip includes a substrate, transistors, isolation structures, a dielectric layer, a resistive layer and conductive sections. Each transistor includes a gate, a source, a drain and a gate oxide disposed between the gate and the substrate. The isolation structures are on the substrate surface and isolate the transistors. The dielectric layer covers the transistors and the isolation structures, and has openings exposed the source and the drain. Several heating regions are in the resistive layer that is on the dielectric layer. In the conductive sections, the first conductive section is on the resistive layer and exposes the heating regions for forming several heating devices. Each heating device has resistance less than 95 ohm and power density less than 2 GW/m2; the second conductive section and the third conductive section are electrically coupled to the drain and the source through the openings of the dielectric layer respectively.

  • Patent number: 7187811
Abstract: The invention provides a method for image resolution enhancement, which utilizes a fuzzy analysis system simulating the human vision system and uses the neural network as a basis for digital image interpolation. After an original image is inputted in, the image analysis module will divide and classify the original image, and then each of the image being classified will be processed by either the bilinear interpolation or the neural network interpolation. Because the fuzzy analysis system is configured according to the human vision system, and because the neural network is a model obtained from learning real natural images, the vision effect of the image enlarged through the processing method of the invention is very close to the real natural image.

  • Publication number: 20060098063
Abstract: An ink jet-printing apparatus includes an ink reservoir, a print head, a flexible pocket, and a resilient element. The print head is used for ejecting ink from the reservoir. The reservoir is substantially sealed so that ejection of ink from the reservoir decreases a pressure in the reservoir volume. The flexible pocket is disposed in the ink reservoir and is capable of slowing a decrease of the pressure in the reservoir volume by changing a reservoir volume of a reservoir cavity defined between the flexible pocket and the reservoir. The resilient element is disposed within the ink reservoir and the flexible pocket for maintaining the pressure in the reservoir volume below the ambient pressure. The flexible pocket and the resilient element regulate changes in the negative pressure of the ink-jet printing apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20050157068
Abstract: An inkjet print head comprising an ink chip, at least a heater, a chamber layer and a nozzle plate is provided. The heater and the chamber layer are formed on the surface of the ink chip. The chamber layer has at least an ink channel and at least an ink chamber. The ink chamber exposes the heater and connects to a reservoir through the ink channel. The ink chamber has a plurality of chamber walls. At least one of the chamber walls has a first area and a second area. The first area corresponds to the heater. The first area and the second area have a distance offset for forming at least a collecting room. The nozzle plate is positioned over the chamber layer. The nozzle plate has at least a nozzle positioned above the heater. By forming the collecting room, air bubbles and/or impurities within the ink can be collected after an ink-jetting operation.

  • Patent number: 6387008
Abstract: A speed-changing control mechanism of a multistage speed-changing wheel hub has a planetary gear device comprising a gear support and a plurality of planetary gears. The planetary gears are respectively engaged with a ring gear and sun gears. The rotational power of a drive member is transmitted to the ring gear or the gear support via a sleeve. A speed ratio change is brought about by the action of the planetary gears and the sun gears. The power is finally transmitted to the wheel hub via the gear support or the ring gear. The planetary gears are driven by the power input source portion of the sleeve in conjunction with the action of another sleeve on the fastening shaft, thereby controlling two sets of one-way ratchet pawls opposite in direction to engage or disengage.
