  • Patent number: 11923473
Abstract: A high efficiency configuration for a solar cell module comprises solar cells arranged in an overlapping shingled manner and methods for assembling solar cells in a shingled manner. Solar cells in the module are electrically connected in series by front side ribbons and separate rear side ribbons. The front-side ribbons have a smaller cross-sectional width while the rear-side ribbons are thinner and wider.

  • Patent number: 11788742
Abstract: A natural ventilator is herein disclosed that is free of moving parts, wind-activated, rain-proof, and free of dust or smog infiltration. It is not only suitable to be a standalone natural ventilator, but is also advantageous to be used as an enhanced exhaust exit in a forced-air ventilation system, for such enclosed spaces or objects as buildings and vehicles needing air relief. The ventilator assembly has rainwater-proof shapes or fixtures that serve to defend the vent system, and the interior space being vented, against rainwater invasion, even if raindrop trajectory becomes highly oblique from vertical as driven by strong winds. It also includes shapes or fixtures to prevent fume condensation from drifting outward and staining the exterior of a building or vehicle, or the like, that is being vented.

  • Patent number: 11320157

It is not only suitable to be a standalone natural ventilator, but is also advantageous to be used as an enhanced exhaust exit in a forced-air ventilation system, for such enclosed spaces or objects as buildings and vehicles. It can also be used as a suction generator that supplies so-called suction or negative pressure to help stabilize such building components as roof membranes by channeling the low pressure to their underside to balance the wind uplift above. The ventilator has an enhanced rainwater-proof method that serves to defend the vent system, and the space being vented, against rainwater invasion, even if raindrop trajectory becomes highly oblique from vertical as driven by strong winds.

  • Publication number: 20180119968
Abstract: This invention provides a natural ventilator that is free of moving parts, wind-activated, rain-proof, and not only suitable to be a standalone natural ventilator but also advantageous to be used as an enhanced exhaust exit in a forced-air ventilation system. The ventilator includes a base plate to be secured onto a substantially vertical exterior surface of such enclosed objects as a building or vehicle, a substantially horizontal tube connected to at least one opening substantially centered on the base plate, and a raised body being supported and secured on the base plate with elongated members and having a convex face towards the opening on the base plate. A free space is formed between the base plate and the convex face of the raised body. The convex face of the raised body is configured in such a way that the free space between the convex face and base plate is generally narrower near the opening on the base plate than away from the opening.

It can also be used as a suction generator that supplies so-called suction or negative pressure to help stabilize such building components as roof membranes by channeling the low pressure to its underneath to balance the wind uplift above. The ventilator includes a hollow base body to be secured onto an exterior surface of such enclosed objects as a building or vehicle and having a convex upper face, and a hollow raised body being supported and secured on the base body with elongated hollow members and having a convex lower face towards the base body. The elongated hollow members establish conduits that channel the internal spaces of the hollow base and raised bodies. A free space is formed between the convex faces of the base and raised bodies.
