Abstract: An insert for a drill bit and method of making an insert is disclosed herein. An insert has a grip region, a cutting extension having a cutting surface, and at least one implant embedded in the cutting extension, wherein the cutting extension comprises a first carbide material and the implant comprises a second carbide material, and wherein the second carbide material has a hardness that is greater than the first carbide material.

Abstract: A virtual storage migration method is provided, including: starting a data migration process, and copying, from a source storage device to a destination storage device, a data block in a virtual disk to be migrated; when a VM front-end I/O read request is received, directly reading, corresponding data from the source storage device; when a VM front-end I/O write request is received, determining whether a migration data block that corresponds to the write request is being migrated, if yes, executing a write operation that corresponds to the write request after the migration of the migration data block is completed, if no, executing a write operation that corresponds to the write request; and after all the data blocks in the virtual disk to be migrated are copied to the destination storage device, stopping the data migration, and switching the virtual disk from the source storage device to the destination storage device.

Abstract: A faucet connecting structure contains a body including a chamber having a receiving trench, the receiving trench including an opening; an outlet pipe including a first end to input water and a second end to output water, the first end including a connector inserted into the receiving trench; an engaging member including a peripheral fringe, an inner surface, an outer surface, a first and a second segments, a slot, and the inner and the outer surfaces including at least one first deformable area and at least one second deformable area respectively to generate a radial-direction deformation when being forced in a radial direction so as to act against a radial-direction engaging force resulting from connecting the first engaging member and body together; a retaining means to retain the engaging member and the body together so that the outlet pipe is limited to move and rotate axially relative to the body.
