Abstract: A coaxial connector including a socket contact having a mating end, a terminating end, and a central contact axis extending therebetween. The socket contact includes a contact wall that extends around the contact axis and defines a contact cavity. The contact wall has a wall edge at the mating end that defines a contact opening to the contact cavity. The coaxial connector also includes a dielectric insert that holds the socket contact. The dielectric insert includes a mating face that has an insert opening providing access to the bore. The dielectric insert includes a body portion that surrounds the socket contact and a hood portion that defines the insert opening. The hood portion projects radially inward from the body portion so that the hood portion covers the wall edge. The hood portion is configured to direct a pin contact of a mating connector into the contact cavity.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for fixing a battery in an electronic device is provided. The fixing apparatus includes a circuit board, a support frame, and a cover. The circuit board defines an opening therein. The support frame is received in the opening and is configured for receiving the battery. The cover defines at least one pair of latching members therein. Wherein the at least one pair of latching member latches onto the circuit board to fix the battery between the support frame and the cover.

Abstract: A substrate is provided that includes a plurality of substrate layers and a plural diameter via having a first via portion and a second via portion. The first via portion is formed in a first substrate layer, has a first diameter, and extends along a first axis. The second via portion is formed in a second substrate layer, has a second diameter that is different than the first diameter of the first via portion, and extends along a second axis that is offset from the first axis of the first via portion. Optionally, the first via portion and the second via portion may have a common edge that is spaced the same distance from an edge of another via extending through the substrate.

The signal contacts are received in corresponding contact openings and are arranged within the slot to mate with the mating connector. Ground contacts are held in the housing and are arranged between corresponding signal contacts. The ground contacts are received in corresponding contact openings and are arranged within the slot to mate with the mating connector. A ground clip is loaded into the ground clip channel. The ground clip engages the ground contacts to create a ground circuit between the ground contacts engaged by the ground clip.

Abstract: A protective cover for an electronic device includes an upper shell, a lower shell, at least one elastic member, and a clasping member. The lower shell defines a cavity for receiving the upper shell, one open end of the cavity is a passage for the upper shell to be pulled out of or be pulled into the cavity, and the other connecting end is accommodated in the cavity. The at least one elastic member is connected between the closed end and one end of the upper shell applying a tensile force to the upper shell to pull the upper shell into the cavity of the lower shell. The clasping member is connected between the lower shell and the upper shell when the upper shell is pulled out of the cavity of the lower shell.

Abstract: A container includes a container body, a dispenser head and a flip-cap arrangement. The flip-cap arrangement includes a retention body, a flipping cap and a flipping joint. The retention body is mounted at the container body around the opening thereof. The flipping cap is sat on the retention body to enclose the dispenser head. The flipping joint is integrally linked between edge portions of the retention body and the flipping cap to retain the flipping cap among a fully closed position, a fully opened position, and a flipping position, wherein at the flipping position, the flipping cap is pivotally lifted up from the fully closed position to allow the flipping cap being flipped to the fully opened position, such that the flipping cap requires a two-step flipping operation to fold from the fully closed position to the fully opened position.
