  • Patent number: 5267535
Abstract: A two-stroke engine with a rotary exhaust valve being provided in the vicinity of the exhaust part of the engine; the rotary exhaust valve rotates in a contrary direction to the rotating direction of the engine crank and at a speed equal to one-half that of the crank. During final exhaust stage, the exhaust passage is closed so as to prevent the fresh fuel gas from being exhausted before being burned.

  • Patent number: 5027759
Abstract: A fuel injection and gasifying system for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The combustion system includes a piston assembly with a piston furnished with a gasifying chamber, a cylinder which contains the combustion apparatus, a crank assembly with a crankcase, an injection apparatus, and a control apparatus. The crank assembly manipulates the piston assembly between a first position and a second position. The injection apparatus delivers a fuel mixture to the combustion system, and is positioned such that, when the piston assembly is in the first position, the injection apparatus opens into the gasifying chamber, and when the piston assembly is in the second position, the injection apparatus opens into the crankcase. The control apparatus controls the operation of injection apparatus. When the temperature of the gasifying chamber is below the vaporizing temperature of the fuel the fuel is injected into the crankcase.

  • Patent number: 4848279
Abstract: A round pipe being rotatably mounted in a round hole seat adjacent to the exhausting port on the cylinder block of a two-stroke engine; the round hole seat has two passages being in communication with the exhausting port and the crankcase. The round pipe has a slot, which can align with the aforesaid two passages respectively upon the round pipe rotating so as to have the round pipe become communicating with the exhausting port or the crankcase; the time of that communicating state is synchronous with the later period of exhausting and the ending of intake into the crankcase. The inside of the round pipe is fed with compressed air, therefore, the compressed air blowing towards the exhausting port during the later period of exhausting forms a screen to prevent the fresh gas from flowing out together with the waste gas exhausted or even reversely inject air into the cylinder for increasing the gas pressure in the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4809648
Abstract: Disclosed is a two-stroke engine having a central scavenging system through which the scavenging mixture, regulated into a single stream at a scavenging port provided in the top wall of the piston, jets upwardly into the center of the top portion of the cylinder bore and then spreads radially outwards so as to provide a plurality of currents of scavenging mixture. These currents branch from the main stream of scavenging mixture and flow through shorter distance as well as undergo similar flow environment with respect to one another due to symmetry in regard to the center of the cylinder. Thus, the scavenging performance of the two-stroke engine can be greatly improved.

  • Patent number: 4776609
Abstract: It is a linkage type of anti-dive suspension mechanism for a wheel; this mechanism is particularly designed for the front wheel of a motorcycle so as to prevent the head portion of cycle from diving downwards upon braking. The main structure of the mechanism comprises a linking rod being connected between the brake disk and the fork. The prime feature of the mechanism is that the center lines of the linking rod, the brake disk, the rocking arm of the front wheel and the form from a skew quadrilateral-shaped four-rod linkage mechanism; further, the intersected point of the extension lines of the center line of the linking rod and the center line of the rocking arm is fell behind the brake disk in the direction of the tail of the cycle.

  • Patent number: 4708100
Abstract: It is a reciprocating type of internal combustion engine, of which the inside of piston is furnished with a gasifying chamber; the outlet of the gasifying chamber can, during the piston moving reciprocatingly, be in alignment with the spraying nozzle on the cylinder and the third scavenging passage in sequence so as to let the spraying nozzle directly spray fuel into the gasifying chamber, and to let the fuel absorb the high temperature heat of the piston top to cause the fuel to be gasified completely. The gasified fuel flows into the third scavenging passage during the piston moving downwards and is to be stored therein temporarily; then, the gasified fuel is compressed into the cylinder by means of the compressed air in the crankcase so as to mix with the fresh air entered into the cylinder via other scavenging passages. The gas mixture is to be compressed with the upward moving piston, and to be exploded to generate a mechanical power.

  • Patent number: 4671134
Abstract: An automatic transmission for motorcycles includes a planetary gear train. The power input is applied to a ring gear of the train by a fixed speed ratio transmission and to a sun gear by a variable speed ratio transmission so that the sun gear rotates in a direction opposite to that of the ring gear. The power is output from the planetary gear carrier. The power output is zero when the pitch line velocity of the ring gear is equal to that of the sun gear. A centrifugal clutch is mounted on the input shaft for engaging fixed speed ratio transmission when the rotational speed of the input shaft reaches a predetermined value. Furthermore, another shaft is disposed parallelly near the input shaft and connected to the input shaft by means of two interengaging gears which are respectively mounted on the two shafts so as to act as a balancing shaft for the crank shaft of the engine.
