  • Patent number: 8316473
Abstract: The present invention relates to a toilet seat cover for covering and sanitizing a toilet seat comprising: a top edge; a bottom edge; two side edges, where the side edges include two curved portions on each side; and two seat ridge edges above the curved portions, where seat cover includes an antibacterial agent or a disinfectant that allows a user to wipe the seat prior to use. The toilet seat cover according to the present invention may be used to cover a portion of the toilet seat, where the seat cover drapes over a portion of the toilet seat while the bottom end lies within the toilet bowl. The toilet seat cover may be made of a biodegradable material and suitable for flushing into a sewage system.

  • Publication number: 20070119755
Abstract: A woodwaste processing trommel apparatus has a rotating trommel for receiving and separating woodwaste by size. An elongated electrode is mounted within the trommel and has a polarized electric charge thereon for attracting plastic pieces having a static electric charge thereon. An elongated vacuum pipe is mounted in the trommel adjacent the electrode for removing plastic pieces clinging to the elongated electrode. An electrode and vacuum nozzle is also placed adjacent the end of the discharge conveyor to further remove plastic particles. A method of removing plastic intermixed with woodwaste in the trommel in accordance with the apparatus is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060196397
Abstract: A pressurized vessel configured to convey a material comprises a number of generally rectangular-shaped baffles, each having at least one curved edge coupled to an interior wall of the vessel along a length of the vessel. The pressurized vessel includes a plurality of generally triangular-shaped baffles that have at least one curved edge coupled to an interior wall of the vessel. The other edges of the plurality of generally triangular-shaped baffles are coupled to separate generally rectangular-shaped baffles that are oriented at a 45-degree angle from the generally triangular-shaped baffle. The coupling of the plurality of generally triangular-shaped baffles and plurality of generally rectangular-shaped baffles conveys material within the pressurized vessel, as the vessel is rotated.

  • Publication number: 20060117059
Abstract: The invention monitors and manages performance and availability data from multiple data providers. A set of executable hierarchical decision trees is used. Each tree has an anchor data node that, if matched to an incoming data point, will trigger the execution of the decision tree. Each tree has lower level data nodes that may request data when the data nodes are traversed during the execution of the tree. Each data node request a particular type of data to be received within a certain time window. Depending on the availability and analysis of the data, the node will return a result, causing the decision tree to proceed and branch the hierarchical decision tree according to the result, if necessary. At the end of each tree branch is an action node, which represents the correlation of an alert, event, or performance metric. The path of the anchor node, data nodes, and action node followed in the executable hierarchical decision tree are used to generate a correlation event.

  • Publication number: 20060032853
Abstract: A door for a pressurized vessel comprises a circular seat and lid. The seat has a plurality of locking receivers that are configured to receive a locking arm on the outer surface of the lid when the lid is positioned against the seat. The lid has a plurality of guides configured to direct the travel of the locking arms as the locking arms move toward and away from the locking receivers. A locking actuator is positioned on the outer surface of the lid and configured to cause each locking arm to extend through one of the guides and locking receivers so that a pressurized seal is maintained. An opening actuator is also coupled to the lid and to the pressurized vessel and is configured to conceal and expose the opening by positioning the lid against and away from the seat, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5385390
Abstract: A portable seat carrier is provided, which consists of a seat in which a person may sit upon. A backrest to support a back of the person, is hinged to the seat. A structure extends from the sides of the seat to removably connect to the backrest for supporting the backrest in an upright position. Components are for carrying the seat and the backrest. When the supporting structure is removed from and placed behind the backrest, the backrest can be folded backwards against the seat, to form a briefcase type configuration, allowing the carrying components to transport the briefcase type configuration to another location.
