  • Publication number: 20120000693
Abstract: Provided is an electric coil including a wire coated with enamel and spirally wound a predetermined number of times, an insulating member, and an installation member made of plastic, wherein the wire is an aluminum wire coated with enamel and a copper wire is connected to both ends of the aluminum wire such that the electric coil used in an electric motor is formed of an aluminum wire to solve the problems of high cost and weight caused by the use of a conventional copper wire and the problems of corrosion and disconnection caused by the use of a conventional aluminum wire.

  • Patent number: 6849976
Abstract: A housing structure for geared motors is disclosed. The housing structure is designed to seal the spaces between a stator core and first and second housings to prevent infiltration of moisture and impurities to a motor's drive part through the spaces or formation and growth of ice on the drive part, thus the motor always being smoothly started in its operation, without having a high drive torque undesirably increased to remove ice or impurities from the drive part. The first housing has a support part functioning to rotatably support a first end of the rotating shaft on the stator core, while the second housing has a cup part functioning to rotatably support a second end of the rotating shaft on the stator core. The support part of the first housing includes a first spherical bearing, a first seat part, and a bearing seat. The first housing also has a cylindrical part assembled with the stator core, and a shaft hole rotatably supporting an output shaft of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20040032174
Abstract: A motor, with a drive shaft, a driven shaft, and a reduction gear mechanism transmitting a rotating force of the drive shaft to the driven shaft while lowering a rotating speed to a predetermined level required by the driven shaft, is disclosed. In the motor, two needle bearings are set in a motor housing to rotatably support the driven shaft. Two thrust washers, each having one or more lubricating holes, are set in the motor housing to prevent a positional displacement of the needle bearings during a rotation of the driven shaft. Due to such thrust washers, frictional interference of the needle bearings with support rings caused by a positional displacement of the needle bearings is prevented. Since the thrust washers have the lubricating holes, lubricant contained in the motor housing smoothly flows to the frictional contact areas between the needle bearings and the driven shaft, thus continuously forming effective lubricant layers between the bearing rollers and the driven shaft.
