  • Patent number: 10870800
Abstract: A process for operating a thermal or catalytic cracking unit is described. The process entails generating a product that includes cracked hydrocarbon vapor and solid coke-particles from a heavy hydrocarbon input. The product is communicated towards a fractionator and a quench liquid is introduced into the product for creating a two-phase flow of cracked hydrocarbon vapor and the quench liquid with solid coke-particles entrained in the quench liquid. The two-phase flow is introduced into the fractionator and the cracked hydrocarbon vapor are separated from the quench liquid and the solid coke-particles entrained therein by gravity separation. The two-phase flow can reduce or remove the requirement of a wash zone within the fractionator. A recirculation loop is included in a wash-zone circulation system. The recirculation loop bypasses one or more spray headers of the wash zone and returns to a first end of the wash-zone circulation system.

  • Patent number: 8454395
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) for mating with a mating connector includes a housing (1) defining a receiving cavity (10), a rear insulator (32), a central pin (7), a front insulator (31) and a contact member (5) received in the receiving cavity. The contact member includes a first through fourth side walls (513a-513d) surrounding an inserting slot (514), a pair of resilient beams (515) respectively bent from the second and the fourth side walls toward the inserting slot for clasping the mating connector. The first side wall includes a first edge portion (511) having a first protrusion (519) and a first cutout (518) in front of the first protrusion, and a second edge portion (512) having a second protrusion (516) engaged with the first cutout and a second cutout (517) behind the second protrusion and engaged with the first protrusion.

  • Publication number: 20110275241
Abstract: A packaging tray (100) for accommodating an electrical connector (200) which has a central conductor (60) having a conductive tail (65) at a first level and an outer conductor (50) having a grounding tail (53) at a different second level, includes a cavity (10) defining a bottom wall (20), and opposite first and second side walls (310, 320). The first side wall defines a first indentation (311) for accommodating the grounding tail of the outer conductor. The second side wall defines a second indentation (321) for accommodating the conductive tail of the central conductor. The second indentation has a bottom face at a first level. The first indentation has a bottom face (313) at a different second level.
