    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of an aqueous glucose solution from maize or maize kernels. The invention also relates to a glucose solution obtainable by this process, and to its use for the production of organic compounds. The process according to the invention comprises: a) fractionating dry milling of maize kernels, where the maize kernels are separated into a maize-starch-comprising endosperm fraction and a high-oil germ fraction and, if appropriate, a bran fraction; b) enzymatic liquefaction and saccharification of the maize starch in an aqueous suspension of the endosperm fraction, which gives an aqueous glucose solution comprising maize gluten; and c) depletion of the maize gluten and, if appropriate, any bran present from the aqueous glucose solution.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a rack bar supporting device of a steering apparatus for a vehicle. The disclosed rack bar supporting device reduces the friction between a rack bar and a support yoke during the rack bar's linear motion interlocking with the operation of a steering wheel. Thus, the device can prevent free movement from increasing by reducing the wear of the support yoke, and can facilitate the restoration of the steering wheel by the reduction of the friction between the rack bar and the support yoke when a driver drives a vehicle in a forward direction after the operation of the steering wheel. Also, it is possible to prevent a noise from occurring caused by an increase of free movement when the support yoke collides with a yoke plug by an impact revelry input from an uneven road surface, etc. This provides a comfortable steering feeling to the driver.

    Abstract: An organic EL device and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The organic EL device comprises a substrate having a first electrode arranged on an active region, at least one organic material layer formed on the first electrode, a second electrode formed on the organic material layer so as to extend to an inactive region of the substrate to allow heat of the device to be dissipated to an outside therethrough, and a seal-cup facing the second electrode while being sealingly connected with the second electrode at a seal line via a sealant. The organic EL device can effectively lower an interior temperature of the device while preventing degradation thereof, thereby remarkably increasing lifetime thereof, and enhance interface stability of the device, thereby remarkably suppressing degradation in characteristics of the device.
