Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to inventive systems, methods, and devices for use in an outdoor lighting network for drone detection. The drone detection system includes one or more lighting fixtures, one or more radar sensors to detect a moving object, and one or more controllers. The controllers receive data from the sensors, determine the velocity and velocity change rate of the object over a period of time, and analyze flight data pertaining to the moving object to determine if the object is a drone. The system can determine the starting location of the moving object, and send a signal indicating its starting location. The system can also track the position of the moving object in the outside environment.

Abstract: A system and method for enabling secure device-to-device (D2D) communication between a plurality of user devices. The method includes providing public and private keys for each of the user devices, the private key arranged to decrypt data encrypted by the corresponding public key. A sender user device creates a digital signature using its private key. The sender double-encrypts a transmission using both the public keys of a recipient user device and a first relay user device. The transmission is transmitted from the sender to the recipient through a plurality of relay user devices. Each relay user device receives the transmission, decrypts a first layer of encryption with its private key, encrypts the transmission with the public key of a subsequent user device; and forwards the data transmission to the subsequent user device. The recipient authenticates the digital signature of the sender using the public key of the sender.

Abstract: A system for monitoring face mask wearing of a monitored person is provided. The system includes a controller communicatively coupled to one or more multipixel thermopile sensors (“MPTs”). The controller is configured to (1) detect a monitored person region within a heat map based on one or more data sets captured by the MPTs; (2) locate a head region within the monitored person region by identifying a high intensity pixel cluster within the monitored person region; (3) determine a facing-direction of the head region based on a major axis of the monitored person region or a minor axis of the monitored person region; (4) locate a mouth region within the head region based on the facing-direction; (5) determine an exhalation region of the heat map based on the mouth region; (6) determine a mask state of the monitored person based on the exhalation region and a temperature gradient classification model.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for classifying user behavior as anomalous. One of the methods includes obtaining user behavior data representing behavior of a user in a subject system. An initial model is generated from training data, the initial model having first characteristic features of the training data. A resampling model is generated from the training data and from multiple instances of the first representation for a test time period. A difference between the initial model and the resampling model is computed. The user behavior in the test time period is classified as anomalous based on the difference between the initial model and the resampling model.

Abstract: A system for monitoring social distancing is provided. The system includes a controller communicatively coupled to sensors within an environment. The controller may be configured to (1) receive an expected sensor behavior model for each of the sensors; (2) generate an adjusted sensor behavior model for each of the sensors based on the expected sensor behavior model for each of the sensors and an environment adjustment model for each of the sensors; (3) receive a layout of the environment; (4) generate an expected layout behavior model based on the layout and the adjusted sensor behavior model; (5) capture, via the sensors, an observed behavior data set during a measurement period; and (6) determine a social distancing state of individuals in the environment as distanced or not-distanced based on the observed behavior data set and the expected layout behavior model.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a half-cast mark identification and damaged flatness evaluation and classification method for blastholes in tunnel blasting, including the following steps: S1-2: photographing first and second contrast images as well as a half-cast mark image after blasting; S3-6: performing denoising, gray-scale processing and binary processing on the above images, and identifying a boundary of a half-cast mark in each of the images; S7-9: determining a flatness damage variable, a quantitative relation among an area of a half-cast mark region, the damage variable and a fractal dimension, and a damage value of the half-cast mark image; S10-11: forming five-dimensional (5D) eigenvectors to obtain multi-dimensional digital information features of the images; and S12-13: selecting eigenvectors of 60 images as training data to input to a naive Bayes classifier (NBC), and taking eigenvectors of remaining 30 images as classification data to input the above well-trained NBC for classification.
