Abstract: A substrate includes a first doped region having a first type dopant, and a second doped region having a second type dopant and adjacent to the first doped region. A stack is formed that includes first layers and second layers alternating with each other. The first and second layers each have a first and second semiconductor material, respectively. The second semiconductor material is different than the first semiconductor material. A mask element is formed that has an opening in a channel region over the second doped region. A top portion of the stack not covered by the mask element is recessed. The stack is then processed to form a first and a second transistors. The first transistor has a first number of first layers. The second transistor has a second number of first layers. The first number is greater than the second number.

Abstract: A supported metallocene catalyst includes a carrier and a metallocene component. The carrier includes an inorganic oxide particle and an alkyl aluminoxane material. The inorganic oxide particle includes at least one inorganic oxide compound selected from the group consisting of an oxide of Group 3A and an oxide of Group 4A. The alkyl aluminoxane material includes an alkyl aluminoxane compound and an alkyl aluminum compound that is present in amount ranging from greater than 0.01 wt % to less than 14 wt % base on 100 wt % of the alkyl aluminoxane material. The metallocene component is supported on the carrier, and includes one of a metallocene compound containing a metal from Group 3B, a metallocene compound containing a metal from Group 4B, and a combination thereof. A method for preparing the supported metallocene catalyst and a method for preparing polyolefin using the supported metallocene catalyst are also disclosed.

Abstract: A slide-type cylinder coupling which is suitable for the quick connect/disconnect attachment of a lift piston on a pedestal lift cylinder to a lift pedestal on a load cup or HCLU station of a chemical mechanical polishing apparatus. The cylinder coupling includes a coupling bolt which is provided on the lift piston and a coupling bracket which is provided on the bottom surface of the lift pedestal. The coupling bolt is slidably inserted in the coupling bracket to removably connect the lift cylinder to the lift pedestal. The coupling bolt is slidably removed from the coupling bracket to disconnect the lift cylinder from the lift pedestal for replacement or maintenance of the lift cylinder.

Abstract: A self-cleaning apparatus for use in a chemical mechanical polishing tool. The apparatus includes a slurry-dispensing arm with a first end suspended over a polishing pad, and a second end for mounting to the chemical mechanical polishing tool. A slurry-dispensing nozzle is positioned under the first end for dispensing a polishing slurry against the polishing pad. The first end has a compound slanted top surface, a front face and adjoining side surfaces. The compound slanted top surface forms a longitudinal peak slanting from center to both sides and from the back end to the front face. The top surface of the first end has a liquid distribution manifold that is mounted distally from the front face and has a plurality of nozzles directed to spray deionized water to wash away slurry splatter from surfaces of the first end of the slurry dispensing arm during the water polishing cycle.

Abstract: A rocking chair has two side panels each of which has an engaging hole and a plurality of positioning holes, a first bar and a second bar connected between the two side panels. A footrest has two side plates pivotally connected to the two side panels by a rod extending through the engaging holes and the side plates, each of the two side plates having a match holes so that the footrest is positioned relative to the two side panels by extending two pins through the positioning holes and the match holes. The two side plates can be rested on the first bar. Each of the two side plates has a notch defined therein so that the footrest can be folded between the two side panels by engaging the second bar with the two notches.
