    Abstract: Provided are a multicast fast switching method, device and equipment, and a storage medium, which relate to the technical field of communications. The method includes the following operations: when forwarding a multicast Bit Indexed Explicit Replication Traffic Engineering (BIER-TE) packet, a forwarding node detects whether an abnormality occurs in a forwarding link between the forwarding node and a next node; in responsive to detecting that an abnormality occurs in the forwarding link between the forwarding node and the next node, the forwarding node determines whether the multicast BIER-TE packet is configured with a multicast fast switching tag; and in responsive to determining, by the forwarding node, that the multicast BIER-TE packet is configured with the multicast fast switching tag, multicast fast switching is performed according to the multicast fast switching tag.

When performing forwarding according to a BIER rule, the forwarding side node can identify the user side node and encapsulate a packet to have a correct destination address to be sent, so as to ensure that the user side node can correctly receive a traffic message.
