  • Publication number: 20110087535
Abstract: An information processing device, an information processing system, a control method for an information processing device, and a program can detect POS terminal operations without modifying the POS terminal. An output data acquisition unit 21 acquires output data that is output from a POS terminal 1. An operation determination unit 22 evaluates the operation of the POS terminal 1 based on the acquired output data. A data conversion unit 23 converts the result from the operation determination unit 22 to data in a specific format that can be interpreted by a store management server 5. A converted data output unit 24 outputs the converted data converted by the data conversion unit 23 to the store management server 5.

  • Publication number: 20080186787
Abstract: A storage device includes: a ferroelectric memory that temporarily stores data, wherein the ferroelectric memory stores an error correction code that is used for verifying the data by correcting errors possibly occurring on the data stored; a storage medium that has a plurality of storage regions and continually stores the data in one of the plurality of storage regions; and a control section that (1) writes the data and the error correction code to the ferroelectric memory, (2) writes the data written in the ferroelectric memory to one of the storage regions in the storage medium, (3) compares the data that is written in the ferroelectric memory and has been verified by using the error correction code written in the ferroelectric memory with the data written to the one of the storage regions in the storage medium, and (4) rewrites the data that has been verified to another one of the storage regions in the storage medium when both of the data do not match each other.

  • Patent number: 5612715
Abstract: A computer system that supports an advanced operating system and advanced application programs that create high resolution images for display and further supports old operating system and application software that run as subordinate processes to the advanced operating system of the computer and which create low resolution images for display, wherein images from both the advanced and old software are displayed, at high resolution, simultaneously on the computer system's display device, typically in separate windows, has a high resolution graphics control pathway and a low resolution graphics control pathway, both for displaying images over the entire viewable area of a display device. In this way, when one of the images seen in a high resolution window is an image generated by software that only produces enough data to drive a low resolution display, that image can be redisplayed at the resolution that it was originally intended to be displayed at, in order to see that image more clearly.
