  • Patent number: 4885596
Abstract: A recording apparatus according to the present invention in which a data is recorded by charging a recording medium, scanning laser beams on the recording medium to form electrostatic latent images thereon, and developing and transferring the electrostatic latent image, comprises a charger for charging the recording medium; and at least two image forming device disposed around the recording medium for recording multi-colored and/or uni-colored data in a plurality of print modes. In the recording apparatus, the print modes is controlled so as to drive the second image forming device corresponding to the second print mode after the operation of the first print mode is closed, when the second print mode is designated in the operation of the first image forming means corresponding to the first print mode. And, the driver for driving the recording medium is controlled so as to continuously drive the recording medium when the first print mode is switched to the second print mode by the switching device.

  • Patent number: 4819019
Abstract: A recording apparatus according to the present invention in which a data is recorded by charging a drived recording medium, scanning laser beams on the drived recording medium to form electrostatic latent images thereon, and developing and transferring the electrostatic latent image, comprises a charger for charging the drived recording medium; and at least two image forming device disposed around the recording medium for recording multi-colored and/or uni-colored data in a plurality of print modes. • Patent number: 4763241
Abstract: An image forming apparatus including pairs of a latent image forming unit for forming the latent images with the scanning of the laser beams and a developing unit for developing the latent images which are disposed around the image bearing member to accomplish multi color printing; a detector for detecting a scanning point of a laser beam irradiated before the irradiation of the beam for the image forming; counters for counting detect signals corresponding to the scanning point of the laser beam and for generating allowable signals when the values of the detect signal reaches to predetermined set values; and a write control unit for controlling the latent image forming unit to irradiate the beams for the image forming upon the generation of the allowable signals. Namely, print starting points are adjusted in accordance with the scanning point of the laser beam before the irradiation of the beam for the image forming.

  • Patent number: 4735408
Abstract: A recording apparatus records an image impression of an original on a sheet. The recording apparatus comprises a flip lever arranged to oppose a distal end of a first convey path for conveying the sheet recorded by a recording mechanism. The flip lever is movable between the first position where the sheet conveyed along the first convey path is guided in a second convey path and a second position where the sheet is guided in a third convey path. A temporary stacking tray is arranged to oppose a distal end of the second convey path and temporarily stacks the sheet guided by the flip lever from the first convey path to the second convey path while the first surface of the sheet faces upward. In front of the temporary stacking tray, an inverting mechanism is provided for conveying the sheet temporarily stacked on the temporary stacking tray to the third convey path through a fourth convey path without passing through the flip lever while the second surface opposing the first surface faces upward.
