  • Patent number: 4928919
Abstract: There are provided coned disc springs and an intermediate transmission member in order between a thrust threaded member for generating the valve closing thrust and a valve body, and the intermediate transmission member is adapted to be urged by means of the coned disc springs toward the valve closing side with respect to the thrust threaded member. A contact receiving means is so arranged as to limit the movement of the thrust threaded member toward the valve closing side, and a contact receiving position of the contact receiving means is set at a midway position of the compression range of the coned disc springs. Wherein, the handle is adapted to be changed over between the handle held condition and the handle released condition by the relative movement of the intermediate transmission member with respect to the thrust threaded member.

  • Patent number: 4898210
Abstract: In a gas-cylinder valve adapted to be mounted onto a gas cylinder for use there are provided a gas supply valve chamber and a protection valve chamber in sequence between a gas inlet and a gas outlet within a valve box of the gas-cylinder valve. The gas supply valve chamber is provided with a gas supply valve body and the protection valve chamber is provided with a protection valve body. When the gas outlet of the gas-cylinder valve is opened to the atmosphere, the protection valve body serves to prevent ambient air, and moisture and/or dust in it from entering the gas supply valve chamber thereby avoiding damage to the valve and leakage of gas from the valve.

  • Patent number: 4580450
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve with a level gauge for a elongated liquidfied carbon dioxide container, comprising a body, and a level gauge having at least one articulating or flexible part between a float and a rod connected on the float to move an indicating member by a detecting member fixed thereon. The flexible part allows the float to contact the inner periphery of the container, wherein the inner periphery of the container shares a part of the weight of the float, cancelling the bending moment which is produced by the weight of the float and acting on the rod.
