The pixel definition layer is disposed on a side of the substrate. The pixel definition layer includes a pixel aperture region and a non-pixel aperture region. The light emitting layer is disposed in the pixel aperture region. The cathode layer includes a black cathode layer. The black cathode layer covers the non-pixel aperture region. The black cathode layer is configured to absorb light to improve contrast and color purity of the display panel and the display device.

Therefore, a set of masks can be used to make the first sub-pixels and the second sub-pixels together, thereby reducing the mold charge of the masks and saving costs.
