Abstract: A method of repairing dark spots on a COA LCD panel includes: providing a COA LCD panel having a substrate (11), a metal layer (12), a passivation layer (13), a color resistance layer (14), and a pixel electrode layer (15), the COA LCD panel including pixels, among which exist pixels of light spot defect, and via holes (41) through the color resistance layer, each via hole corresponding to one pixel; using laser from a side of the substrate (11) targeting at the via holes (41) corresponding to the defective pixel; controlling the laser to melt the metal layer (12) and welding the metal layer (12) with the pixel electrode layer (15); adjusting a relative potential and a pixel voltage of the pixel electrode layer (15) to be zero, so that a pixel area in the pixel electrode (15) layer shows as constant darkness, which finishes the repairing operation.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of measuring a width of a color filter unit of a liquid crystal panel. The method includes providing a bottom glass substrate having a TFT array thereon; forming the color filter plate locating within an effective region of the liquid crystal panel by photo-etching process, and forming one or more measure modules locating of the liquid crystal panel and on the TFT array by the photo-etching process; and measuring widths of the one or more measure modules out of the effective region to obtain the width of the filter units within the effective region. The method provided is capable of effectively controlling widths of the color filter units formed in process of manufacturing the liquid crystal panel, thus quality of the liquid crystal panel is raised.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a manufacturing method for manufacturing a color filter. The manufacturing method includes: providing a glass substrate; forming a black matrix layer on the glass substrate; depositing a color film layer on the glass substrate and the back matrix layer; utilizing a mask having a plurality of regions having different levels of light transmittance to expose the color film layer in different degrees; and etching the color film layer according to the exposing result to partially etch a first region of the color film layer and completely etch a second region of the color film layer. The color film layer overlaps the back matrix in the first region and the second region.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a manufacturing method for manufacturing a color filter including: providing a glass substrate; forming an opaque layer on the glass substrate; utilizing a mask having a plurality of regions having different levels of light transmittance to expose the opaque layer; etching the opaque layer to generate a black matrix according to the exposing result, wherein the black matrix has a first region and a second region, and a height of the first region is lower than a height of the second region; and generating a color film layer on the glass substrate and the black matrix. The color film layer and the black matrix layer overlaps in the first region of the black matrix layer.
