The belt loop array consists of a plurality (five shown) of belt loop straps: a single intermediate strap, a pair of short straps and a pair of long straps, which are sewn or otherwise affixed to the back of a pouch or holster to form belt loops of three different widths. The loop straps are affixed to the pouch in a side by side arrangement with the intermediate strap interposed between the short loop straps and long loop straps.

One of the internal pockets of each panel section has facing strips of hook and loop material sewn around its inner periphery that adhere together around a ballistic plate to center and hold the plate in place within the pocket.

Abstract: Individual body armor plates have an integral hook and/or loop pile coverings that allow the plates to directly affix to the mating hook and loop material of the plate carrier apparatus. The use of hook and loop fastener materials to directly affix and support the armor plates to the carrier apparatus eliminates the need for enclosed internal pouches or pockets, thereby greatly reducing overall weight and bulk of the armor plate carrier system. Integrating hook and loop fastener materials into the covering of armor plates also allows the armor plates to be suspended for a wearer with only shoulder straps, harnesses and cummerbunds having corresponding hook and look fastener materials.

Abstract: Attachment apparatus for mounting a pouch to the straps of a support article, such as a chest rig, harness, backpack or the like. The attachment apparatus includes pair of locking tab and cord loops mounted to a pouch that couple together around the straps of a support article to secure the pouch to the support article. The locking tabs have a main section and a distal end that folds back over the main section and is bar tacked together so that the distal end lays back over the main section to form a “locking end.” The locking tab extends through the tab loop and is interposed between the main section and the overlying distal end.

Abstract: A removable pad for a weapon sling that wraps around conventional rifle slings and secures to the sling mount. The removable sling pad has an elongated padded body, a pair of side flaps and an end flap. The end flap is inserted through the rifle's sling swivel and folded back over the outside of the rifle sling. The side flaps fold over the end flap and each other so that opposed sides of hook and loop material on the overlapping flaps interconnect.

Abstract: A weapon mount that integrates a Picatinny style weapon mount and a hook and loop attachment surface to quickly and securely affix weapon accessories to the accessory rail of a weapon using hook and loop fasteners. The mount is constructed of a light weight resilient material that allows the mount to be press fit upon a standard Picatinny rail. The weapon mount has a molded body having a flat top platform and an integral pair of opposed clamp members. The mount also includes a patch of hook fasteners bonded to the outer surface of the top platform.

Abstract: A detachable side plate carrier for use with articles that support ballistic body armor plates. The side plate carrier uses a fold-over/wrap-around” design to accommodate ballistic side plates of various sizes and dimensions and can support those side plates in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The side plate carrier is constructed for durable fabrics sewn in a cruciform shape forming side, top and bottom flaps that can be folded and wrapped around a ballistic side plate. The flaps are held together using hook and loop fasteners on opposite sides of each flap.

Abstract: The attachment lattice provides an attachment substructure for support articles, such as vests, carriers and packs and allows molle compatible modular pockets, pouches and other accessories to be readily attached to the support article, but eliminates the need for a backing material, thereby reducing the weight and bulk of the support article, while still maintaining the ability to attach MOLLE compatible accessories to the lattice. In one embodiment, the attachment lattice is formed by vertical rows of thin webbing or edge binding sewn to the horizontal rows of evenly spaced nylon webbing. In another embodiment, the attachment lattice is formed by the array openings being die cut directly in the fabric material. The attachment lattice of this invention also allows MOLLE compatible accessories to be mounted on either side of the lattice, which effectively increases the capacity and modularity of the support article.

The use of an integral glove in combination with two cuffs provides a solid three point connection to securely position the shield on the user's arm. The ballistic shield is completely supported on one arm without having to be held or manually supported.
