  • Publication number: 20040020671
Abstract: The dust removal device comprises a fan (18), a dust collection receptacle (24), and a suction passage (28). The dust collection receptacle (24) equipped with a dust filter (26) is located in the path of air flow (34, 36) between the suction passage (28) and the fan (18). The dust is therefore filtered out of the air stream before it reaches the fan, which prevents dust-induced wear. It is also possible to use the same fan for engine cooling as well as dust removal.

  • Publication number: 20020178591
Abstract: The invention is based on a saw, in particular a hand-guided saber saw, which has a drive unit (10) by way of which a tool (12), in particular a saw blade, can be driven, and with a tool guide mechanism (14), by way of which the tool (12) can be guided laterally by guide elements (16, 18). It is proposed that the tool guide mechanism (18) has a control motor (20), by way of which a spacing between the guide elements (16, 18) can be adjusted to a tool thickness.

  • Patent number: 6199640
Abstract: An electric machine tool for tools which operate by percussion, the electric machine tool having a machine housing; a rotatingly drivable work spindle seated in the machine housing; a tool receiver provided for receiving a tool and driven by the work spindle; a mechanical striking mechanism having a beater accelerated in an axial direction and actuating a shaft of the tool in the axial direction by blows; a driver unit which derives an acceleration of the beater from rotational movement, the driver unit having an axially displaceably arranged scanning member which rotates synchronously with the work spindle; two circular-shaped curved paths which guide the scanning member and are fixed in the housing, said circular-shaped curved paths having elevations and depressions, each of the elevations pointing in an axial direction of the work spindle in a direction of the scanning member.

  • Patent number: 5366025
Abstract: A drill or impact hammer has a mechanical striking mechanism which is driven in a reciprocating manner by a drive element which is tiltable around an axle. A resilient driver member which is tiltable around the axle serves to transmit this movement to a striker. The driver member is articulated at the striker with play to protect the bearings from the reaction forces in percussion operation.

  • Patent number: 5337835
Abstract: An impact hammer has a housing, a motor accommodated in the housing, an impacting mechanism accommodated in the housing and having a driver and a striker which is displaced by the driver in an axial direction and periodically strikes a shaft of a tool with the driver being tiltable about a tilting axis, a driving element which drives the driver into a reciprocating motion and a shaft which rotates the driving element. The driving element is provided with two interengaging eccentric parts including a first eccentric part which is non-rotatably connected with the shaft and a second eccentric part which is axially displaceable relative to the shaft. The eccentric parts have ring surfaces each surrounding the shaft, arranged asymmetrically relative to one another and being in contact with one another.

  • Patent number: 4630544
Abstract: The drive motor of a vehicle running on an overhead rail and being drivingly coupled thereto through a drive wheel is selectively connected to and disconnected from that wheel through a coupling mechanism which is constructed for obtaining coupling and disconnection through axial movement, being in turn obtained through rotational adjustment under utilization of a control disk having axially extending pins and being part of the vehicle equipment but cooperating with stationary actuating pieces arranged along the track in appropriate positions to obtain selective connection and disconnection of the drive shaft by engaging these pins and turning the coupling mechanism in one direction or the other.

  • Patent number: 4569290
Abstract: A carriage for suspending a load such as a compartment of a vehicle or the like, is basically comprised of a pin, rod or bar from which the load is centrally suspended and which by and in itself is suspended by two wheel carriers, each supporting a wheel for running on opposite flanges of a rail; each wheel carrier has a clamping bore intersecting the bore receiving the load carrying rod and a tension pin-with-wedge is inserted in an intersecting bore for clampingly engaging the load bearing rod upon tightening of a nut on an external thread of the respective tension pin; loosening of the nuts releases a contour fitting engagement and permits the wheel carrier to be adjusted into any desired position on the load carrying rod; the wedges may be constructed as cutting edges for cutting into the load carrying rod upon tightening.
