  • Publication number: 20050043490
Abstract: An esterified macromonomer within the scope of the general formula: wherein Z is an organic moiety, R1 is hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, oxyalkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, alkenyl having from 2 to 12 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having from 5 to 12 carbon atoms, aryl having from 6 to 12 carbon atoms or aralkyl having from 7 to 12 carbon atoms, each E independently is a hydroxyl group, an organic ester moiety or an inorganic ester containing moiety and at least one E is an ester containing moiety, n and m each independently is an integer from 2 to 12. The esterified macromonomer is obtainable by esterification of at least a portion of the —OH groups of a macromonomer having at least one terminal double bond with at least one derivative of an inorganic or organic acid which introduces pendant groups exhibiting at least one acid moiety selected from the group of consisting of —COOH, —PO3H2, —SO3H, —BO2H or salts thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040266906
Abstract: An aqueous one-pack self-etching and self-priming dental adhesive composition having a pH of at most 2, which comprises: (i) a polymerizable N-substituted alkylacrylic or acrylic acid amide monomer which optionally contains an inorganic acidic moiety selected from a phosphonic acid moiety or a sulfonic acid moiety, and (ii) a curing system.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 26, 2004

Inventors: Joachim Klee, Uwe Walz, Uwe Lehman
  • Patent number: 4308085
Abstract: High molecular linear, thermoplastic, epoxide-amine-adducts containing the structural segment ##STR1## are prepared by a solvent-free reaction of equivalent amounts at 20 to 200.degree. C. of N,N'-bis(aralkyl) diamines (for example, N,N'-dibenzyl-ethylenediamine, N,N'-dibenzyl-p-xylylenediamine, N,N'-dibenzyl-4,4'-diamino-diphenylmethane, N,N'-dibenzyl-3,6-dioxa-octanediamine-1,8) with diepoxides (for example, 2,2-bis(4-glycidyloxyphenyl)propane). The polyadducts are soluble and may be processed by thermoplastic methods. The polyaddition process may be conducted for the forming of shaped objects in a form-shaping vessel, for the production of coatings directly upon the surface to be coated and also in the presence of inserted materials and has, due to these characteristics, the nature of a casting system.
