  • Publication number: 20160222962
Abstract: An internal gear pump for a hydraulic vehicle brake system includes a pump shaft, a pinion, a ring gear, a first axial plate, and a second axial plate. The pinion is disposed on the pump shaft, is configured to rotate conjointly therewith, and is arranged eccentrically within the ring gear so as to mesh therewith. The first and second axial plates are adjacent to the pinion and the ring gear. A toothing on at least one of the ring gear and the pinion is configured such that an axial width of a root of a respective tooth is greater than an axial width of a crest of the respective tooth. A corresponding method relates to producing such an internal gear pump.

  • Publication number: 20160096200
Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates the manual sorting of objects is disclosed. The apparatus includes a display surface having a surface that can be selectively illuminated and that is adapted for receiving the objects. An identification reader reads identification information stored on the objects. A controller causes an area on the display surface corresponding to one of the objects to be illuminated based on the identification information and indicates a location to which the illuminated object is to be moved. In one aspect of the invention, the display surface includes an area adapted for positioning a receiver for the objects. The display surface provides an indication of a position in the receiver at which the one of the objects is to be placed.

  • Publication number: 20090006969
Abstract: A slide viewer capable of simultaneous display of more than one representation of an area of interest of a slide is provided. The slide viewer includes a database containing at least two data files representing different representations for a same area of interest on one or multiple correlated slides or at least two different digital presentations of the same representation. The representations are views of different illumination and/or of different contrast. Associated with the database are a processor and a display. The processor retrieves data files representing different representations of the same of area of interest and displays them on the display. A user is allowed to simultaneously view representations of the same area of interest, where the representations are of views different from each other by either illumination and/or contrast or by the digital information content presented, and/or by the information acquired from multiple correlated slides.

  • Publication number: 20060133657
Abstract: A scanning device for biological slides is provided, which can be operated in an interactive routine mode as well as in an unsupervised high speed automatic mode. In the first case, typical components, which the pathologist is used to operating manually, such as the microscope, the stage and the focus, and which have to be motorized for the automatic unsupervised system mode, are configured to simulate manual use, operation, and response. A non-interlaced area scan camera supports the interactive selection and acquisition of individual images in the manual mode, as well as the continuous high-speed scan motion for the rare event detection and virtual slide scan applications of the system. Due to the particular requirements to accommodate both operational modes, methods are described for constructing the virtual slide out of image tiles with varying overlap areas in the x- and y-directions.

  • Patent number: 6650703
Abstract: An image transmitting remote object examination device includes (a) an image-recording system at the location of the object to be examined, (b) an observation station located at a distance from the image-recording system for the evaluation of the image and for the remote control of the image-recording system, and (c) an intervening, narrow band telecommunications link, by way of which the images taken are transferred to the observation station using image data compression and/or reduction together with the remote control commands to the image system. A system status-determining unit continuously records the overall system status relevant to image transmission, and dependent upon the overall system status, variably controls the image data compression and/or reduction and/or the number of individual telecommunication channels used in a transmission packet. The image quality required for a particular situation, together with the optimal on-line image impression, is thereby obtained.
