  • Publication number: 20210277631
Abstract: The invention relates to a wear or protection system for a tool of an earth moving machine, comprising a wear element (1), a support (3) and a pin (7) with elastic means (13) housed in a housing (5) having a base surface (27) and a compression surface (29). The base surface (27) and a first portion (31) of the compression surface (29) belong to the wear element (1), and the distance between both has a fixed value Df. A second portion (33) of the compression surface (29) belongs to the support (3), and the distance between the base surface (27) and the second portion (33) is variable depending on the wear of the system, having a minimum value Dmin when the system is new and increasing as wear increases. Dmin is less than Df. The pin (7), in the compressed state, has a height H equal to Dmin, and as the system becomes worn, H increases until reaching the value Df.

  • Patent number: 10208460
Abstract: A removable device for attaching two mechanical parts includes a pin removably locking a first part with respect to a second part, a retainer member on the pin and a resiliently loaded tension member which collaborate to prevent the pin from coming out of its locked position; the removable device further includes at least two inclined surfaces, the general shape of which is that of a projection oriented in the axial direction of the pin, such that when the pin rotates, the retainer member runs along the inclined surfaces and the pin moves between the locked position and unlocked position against a force exerted on the pin along a longitudinal axial direction of the pin exerted by the tension member.

  • Patent number: 9822511
Abstract: A wear assembly of an earth-moving machine's bucket comprises a male part and a female part both of which comprises a nose (male part) or cavity (female part) with an upper contact surface and a lower contact surface. The upper contact surface comprises an upper front contact portion that extends backward from the tip of the nose or the bottom of the cavity and the lower contact surface comprises a lower front contact portion that extends likewise, one of the upper and lower front contact portions being concave and the other being convex. Analogously, the upper contact surface comprises an upper back contact portion that extends forward from the base of the nose or the mouth of the cavity, and the lower contact surface comprises a lower back contact portion that extends likewise, one of the upper and lower back contact portions being concave and the other being convex.

  • Publication number: 20160160473
Abstract: A wear assembly of an earth-moving machine's bucket comprises a male part (1) and a female part (2), both of which in turn comprises a nose (10) (male part) or cavity (20) (female part) provided with an upper contact surface and a lower contact surface. The upper contact surface comprises an upper front contact portion (14, 24) that extends backward from the tip of the nose or the bottom of the cavity and the lower contact surface comprises a lower front contact portion (13, 23) that extends likewise, one of said upper and lower front contact portions being concave and the other being convex. Analogously, the upper contact surface comprises an upper back contact portion (16, 26) that extends forward from the base of the nose or the mouth of the cavity, and the lower contact surface comprises a lower back contact portion (15, 25) that extends likewise, one of said upper and lower back contact portions being concave and the other being convex.
