The rotor includes rotor pole shoes in the circumferential direction with interposed permanent magnets with changing poling. A rotor pole unit with rotor pole shoes is provided for each stator pole unit of the stator pole arrangement, with adjacent rotor pole shoes of one phase being connected with one keeper each.
