Abstract: A decorative retainer for a golf glove that employs, e.g., a hook and loop fastener, system on the glove closure for securing the glove to the golfer or clothing includes a mounting panel having a front portion provided with a cooperative fastener section of hook and loop fastening material that is adapted to securely, but retain a corresponding section of the fastener on the glove, the front portion also provided with a decorative indicia. An attachment device is joined to the mounting panel so that the retainer can be easily affixed to the golfer's clothing or to a golf bag during play.
