Abstract: The invention relates to a method for remote and real-time selecting a section in a video file with a mobile device, wherein a spectator attending an event selects a section of a video file by sending a highlight-marker from his mobile device to a server system, wherein the selection can be performed without the user having access to the camera recording the event. Highlight-marker and video file are systematically time synchronized. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for generating a highlight-video from a plurality of highlight sections.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed. In one embodiment the method includes populating a software as a service (SaaS) application lookup table on a first computer system on a network with a first categorized set of pointers. Each pointer includes one or more storage locations within one or more peer computer systems on the network where at least a portion of a first SaaS application resides. The method also includes the first computer system requesting access to one or more portions of the first SaaS application from at least one of the one or more peer computer systems. The method also includes the first computer system receiving one or more streams of the one or more portions of the first SaaS application from the at least one of the one or more peer computer systems on the network, when access is granted.

Abstract: In today's increasingly populated, yet very busy world, there is a growing need to create community and enable an efficient flow of information through shared interactions; such as matching, alerting, gaming, and commerce. Interactions can be facilitated by advancing technology and the proliferation of wireless devices. Wireless devices and applications can facilitate the matching of people based on similar characteristics, token and data exchanges for gaming situations, or the sending of alerts to warn those entering hazardous areas. With the advent of inexpensive radio frequency (RF) chips and wireless communication standards of many forms, microprocessors (and computing ASICs), and flash memory embedded in many common devices, it is possible to increase the amount of automatic person to person interaction as people pass within RF range of the devices they carry with them or which may reside in fixed locations.

Abstract: A double-sided card is provided which permits a user to print information on both sides of the card. The card has a write-in space including primary and secondary printing faces. An adhesive strip is provided on the back of both the primary and secondary printing faces. A score line divides the primary and secondary printing faces. The card can be folded along the score lime, and sealed by contact between the adhesive strips. Information printed on the primary and secondary printing faces would appear on both sides of the card after folding.
