  • Patent number: 11965399
Abstract: A geological exploration method starts by obtaining measurements and calculating properties along boreholes in an area of interest to generate log data including plural curves. Anomalies are detected along at least one curve of one of the boreholes. A machine learning regressor is trained using one or more curves without anomaly values of the one of the boreholes and/or of another similar borehole among the boreholes, to predict a synthetic curve corresponding to the at least one curve. The synthetic curve is then blended into the at least one curve.

Date of Patent: April 23, 2024
    Assignee: GEOSOFTWARE C.V.

  • Patent number: 10521464
Abstract: Information extraction methods for use in extracting values from unstructured documents for predetermined or user-specified attributes into structured databases are provided herein. Methods include (a) automatically training machine learning models for extracting values from unstructured documents such that the values of the attributes are known for those training documents but the locations of the values in the documents are not known, (b) making a sustained connection between structured databases and unstructured documents so that the data across those two types of data stores can be cross-referred by the users any time, (c) a graphical interface specialized for rich user feedback to rapidly adapt and improve the machine learning models.

  • Publication number: 20190127204
Abstract: A measuring device is disclosed that increases the precision of the amount of liquid, reduces spillage waste, increases speed in creating the beverage and increases productivity. The measuring device may include a vessel body, a ball, a lever, a spring, a base and a trigger. In operation, the liquid is poured into the vessel body until its level visually matches a gradation line equal to the desired volume. The user then squeezes the standard trigger by hand to release the liquid out the bottom of the vessel body. A second trigger may be pressed against a drinking glass or pitcher to release the liquid out the bottom of the vessel body and into the drinking glass or pitcher.

  • Publication number: 20180084588
Abstract: Managing automatic connections to a wireless dock is described. A connection manager is configured to initiate a first user experience by causing display of a first user interface on a display device coupled to a wireless dock in response determining that the mobile computing device is within a close proximity to the wireless dock based at least in part on the first wireless radio detecting the beacon signal associated with the wireless dock. Then, in response to detecting a user action to interact with a peripheral device coupled to the wireless dock, the connection manager initiates a second user experience by causing display of a second user interface on the display device coupled to the wireless dock. The first or second user experience may also include forming a wireless connection with the wireless dock using a second wireless radio.
