  • Patent number: 12009612
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for coupling packaged devices with a socket device. In an embodiment, the socket device comprises a socket body structure and conductors extending therethrough. A pitch of the conductors is in a range of between 0.1 millimeters (mm) and 3 mm. First and second metallization structures also extend, respectively, from opposite respective sides of the socket body structure. In the socket body structure, a conductive shield structure, electrically coupled to the first and second metallization structures, substantially extends around one of the conductors. For each of the first and second metallization structures, a vertical span of the metallization structure is in a range of between 0.05 mm and 2.0 mm, a portion of a side of the metallization structure forms a respective corrugation structure, and a horizontal span of the portion is at least 5% of the vertical span of the metallization structure.

  • Publication number: 20240126816
Abstract: Herein is database query acceleration from dynamic discovery of whether contents of a persistent column can be stored in an accelerated representation in storage-side memory. In an embodiment, based on data type discovery, a storage server detects that column values in a persistent column have a particular data type. Based on storage-side metadata including a frequency of access of the persistent column as an offload input column for offload computation requests on a certain range of memory addresses, the storage server autonomously decides to generate and store, in storage-side memory in the storage server, an accelerated representation of the persistent column that is based on the particular data type. The storage server receives a request to perform an offload computation for the offload input column. Based on the accelerated representation of the persistent column, execution of the offload computation is accelerated.

  • Publication number: 20240126728
Abstract: JSON Duality Views are object views that return JDV objects. JDV objects are virtual because they are not stored in a database as JSON objects. Rather, JDV objects are stored in shredded form across tables and table attributes (e.g. columns) and returned by a DBMS in response to database commands that request a JDV object from a JSON Duality View. Through JSON Duality Views, changes to the state of a JDV object may be specified at the level of a JDV object. JDV objects are updated in a database using optimistic lock.

  • Publication number: 20240117480
Abstract: An Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coated strip that has Mg2Si particles in the coating microstructure is disclosed. The distribution of Mg2Si particles is such that the surface of the coating has only a small proportion of Mg2Si particles or is at least substantially free of any Mg2Si particles.

  • Patent number: 11929070
Abstract: Techniques for performing centralized unsuperivised learning in a multi-domain system are described. A user may request labeled data for an ML task, where the request includes a prompt for obtaining relevant explicit user feedback. The system may use the prompt to collect explicit user feedback for relevant runtime user inputs. After a duration of time (in the user's request for labeled data) has elapsed, the system determines whether collected user feedback indicates processing of the user input was defective and, if so, determines a cause of the defective processing. The system then uses one or more label generators to generate labeled data using the collected user feedback, whether the processing was defective, and the determined defect cause.

  • Publication number: 20240076769
Abstract: Red rust staining of Al/Zn coated steel strip in “acid rain” or “polluted” environments can be minimised by forming the coating as an Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coating with an OT:SDAS ratio greater than a value of 0.5:1, where OT is the overlay thickness on a surface of the strip and SDAS is the measure of the secondary dendrite arm spacing for the Al-rich alpha phase dendrites in the coating. Red rust staining in “acid rain” or “polluted” environments and corrosion at cut edges in marine environments can be minimised in Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coatings on steel strip by selection of the composition (principally Mg and Si) and solidification control (principally by cooling rate) and forming Mg2Si phase particles of a particular morphology in interdendritic channels.

  • Publication number: 20240072072
Abstract: An electronic device includes a substrate and a first signal line. The substrate has an edge, an active region and a peripheral region, wherein the peripheral region is located between the active region and the edge. The first signal line is disposed in the peripheral region, and extends along a first direction which is perpendicular to an extension direction of the edge. The first signal line has a line portion and an end portion. The end portion has a first end point and a second end point. Along a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction, a distance between the first end point and the line portion is different from a distance between the second end point and the line portion.
