  • Patent number: 5530409
Abstract: A central interconnector unit provides for the possible transfer therethrough of RF signals passing in m signal paths from respective signal sources to respective antennas disposed at a cellular telephony cell site to radiate those signals into different angular sectors of the site. The unit has a total capacity for amplifying such signals which is provided by n similar circuit pack amplifying sections (n being greater than m), having respective inputs and outputs connected to corresponding jack terminals on a backplane in the unit.

  • Patent number: 5370553
Abstract: A housing for telecommunications equipment has therein a vertical passageway extending in said housing alongside racks for holding such equipment and between upper and lower entry ways provided by said housing to admit into said passageway from either above or below one or more external cables for servicing equipment in the racks. For each rack there is a flexible extension cable having a front end with a coaxial fitting thereon disposed in the passageway and running from such front end to the corresponding rack to there be coupled with a cable receptor connector. The coaxial fitting on each extension cable is coupleable to an end coupling on the free end of a corresponding external cable. The coaxial fitting on each extension is mounted on a rockable platform pivotally supported from the corresponding rack and angularly selectably adjustable between and secured at two positions of the platform at which the fitting thereon points, respectively, upwardly and downwardly.

  • Patent number: 5048690
Abstract: A plural shipping carton fabricated from a unitary blank includes two side-by-side units that are covered by a top consisting of a single rear end flap, two side flaps, and two front end flaps. Both units have solid inner panels which attach together. The plural carton is split into the two independent units by separating the inner panels. The plural carton is adapted for display by cutting around the periphery of the plural carton to remove the top, and removing substantial portions of the face surface, but leaving the inner panels in tact. The solid inner panels form a structural support member which cooperates with a rear panel to provide support for loads placed upon the plural carton. Thus, a storage system can be formed by stacking a plurality of identical plural cartons one on top of the other.
