  • Publication number: 20220373171
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a method and system for real time monitoring and forecasting of fouling of an air preheater (APH) in a thermal power plant. The system is deploying a digital replica or digital twin that works in tandem with the real APH of the thermal power plant. The system receives real-time data from one or more sources and provides real-time soft sensing of intrinsic parameters as well as that of health, fouling related parameters of APH. The system is also configured to diagnose the current class of fouling regime and the reasons behind a specific class of fouling regime of the APH. The system is also configured to be used as advisory system that alerts and recommends corrective actions in terms of either APH parameters or parameters controlled through other equipment such as selective catalytic reduction or boiler or changes in operation or design.

  • Patent number: 10225159
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for providing network management and application services for a telecommunications network. In an embodiment, data associated with a network entity in the telecommunication network may be received from a provider-specific data source, and the received data may include one or more data attribute values. The telecommunications network may be represented by a network graph containing vertices and edges, and each vertex may correspond to a respective network entity having a respective entity type. The plurality of edges in the network graph connected to the first vertex may be updated based on a linking rule that specifies a relationship between network entities having respective entity types, and a walk associated with the first vertex may be identified. The identified walk may then be dynamically executed from an intermediate starting vertex to generate one or more output entities.

  • Publication number: 20170235785
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing network elements in a telecommunications network. In an embodiment, a real-time processing module processes stream data representing one or more network elements in the telecommunications network to build a real-time view. The real-time processing module stores the real-time view in a view database. A batch processing module processes snapshot data representing all the network elements in the telecommunications network to build a batch view. The batch processing module processes the snapshot data slower than the real-time processing module processes the stream data. The batch processing module saves the batch view in the view database. A presentation module presents a selected view from the view database for display.

  • Publication number: 20070238636
Abstract: Compositions and methods for cleaning polymer processing equipment. The compositions contain at least one or more thermoplastic materials or resins and a cross-linking agent such as an organic peroxide. The compositions may also include fillers, blowing agents and lubricants.

  • Patent number: 7004739
Abstract: An apparatus for injection molding two compatible polymeric materials, in which two or more plasticizing zones on a screw are used to simultaneously or sequentially plasticize the two materials into a common accumulation space through separate pathways. The charge comprising multiple layers of material is then injected into a closed mold by means of forward axial motion of the screw with respect to its enclosing barrel. Once inside the mold, the first material forms a skin layer, totally or partially surrounding the other material. In this way a part having a plurality of material properties may be produced in a single operation.

  • Publication number: 20050051920
Abstract: Apparatus and methods of applying text, graphics, or other coatings to the surface of injection molded plastic parts by injecting a pigmented ink or other liquid through pores in the mold wall during the molding cycle so that parts are molded and printed in one operation.

  • Patent number: 6627134
Abstract: An apparatus for injection molding two compatible polymeric materials, in which two substantially coaxial extrusion screws are used to plasticize the two materials into a common accumulation space. The charge comprising multiple layers of material is then injected into a closed mold by means of forward axial motion of the outer screw with respect to its enclosing barrel. Once inside the mold, the first material forms a skin layer totally or partially surrounding the other material. In this way a part having a plurality of material properties may be produced in a single operation.

  • Patent number: 5529423
Abstract: A loft connector joint employed in the construction of lofts includes a hub having a first end, a second end, an outer periphery, and an axial core oriented along a longitudinal axis extending from first end to the second end. The axial core is hollow and configured for slidable engagement with a post of a loft. A plurality of sockets are positioned about the outer periphery of the hub and facing outward from the center of the hub. Each of the sockets are configured for slidably receiving and retaining an edge of a panel of a loft. The second end of the hub has a plurality of ramps. A removable cap may be secured to the hub. The cap is bowl-shaped and has a domed top and an outer wall. A plurality of tabs extend from the underside of the cap, and the tabs are deflectable radially inward from the center of the cap. When the cap and hub are coupled together, corresponding tabs and ramps contact each other during rotation of the cap in relation to the hub.
