  • Patent number: 10407948
Abstract: The invention relates to a detection device for detecting mechanical functional states of a motor vehicle lock, in which at least two binary signal outputs are provided which define a logical state of the detection device through the respective electrical potentials present there. It is proposed that the functional state of the motor vehicle lock is determined on the basis of the logical state of the signal outputs and of the electrical resistance between the predetermined signal outputs.

  • Publication number: 20170241168
Abstract: A motor vehicle lock having a positioning element, especially a control shaft, and a drive unit for moving the positioning element, wherein the drive unit has a rotor and a stator, the stator having a coil arrangement and at least two magnetically conducting poles associated with the coil arrangement for conducting the magnetic field created by the coil arrangement. It is proposed that the poles each time form, with the rotor, an axial air gap relative to the geometrical rotor axis, possibly in dependence on the rotor position, and a first segment of the coil arrangement with at least two coils and a second segment of the coil arrangement with at least two coils are arranged along the geometrical rotor axis on opposite sides of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20160208522
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock having an actuating element, in particular a control shaft, which can be adjusted about an actuating element axis, and a drive for adjusting the actuating element, the drive having a rotor which is assigned to the actuating element and which has a permanent magnet arrangement, and a stator with a coil arrangement comprising at least two coils. It is proposed that the stator has at least two poles, via which a magnetic field which is generated by the coil arrangement is guided, and wherein, possibly in a manner which is dependent on the position of the rotor, at least one pole of the stator reaches up to an end side of the rotor apart from an axial gap in relation to the actuating element axis.

  • Publication number: 20150027177
Abstract: A motor-vehicle lock with an adjusting element, which is adjustable about an adjusting element axis, and a drive for the adjustment of the adjusting element, the drive having a rotor, formed by the adjusting element, with a permanent magnet arrangement and a stator with a coil arrangement-comprising at least two coils, and the drive being designed in the manner of a direct drive. It is proposed that the stator has at least two poles, by way of which a magnetic field generated by the coil arrangement is made to pass, in that at least one pole of the stator reaches up to the rotor to within a gap which in cross section is essentially in the form of a segment of a ring, and in that the poles of the stator are magnetically coupled by way of a conducting arrangement running around the rotor with respect to the adjusting element axis.

  • Publication number: 20060075841
Abstract: An actuator for a motor vehicle has a drive motor, an actuating element and a blocking element. The blocking element can be deflected by the actuating element, against pretensioning, into a blocking position in which the blocking element blocks further movement of the actuating element. For this deflection, the blocking element is equipped with a tappet and the actuating element is equipped with a power transmission element. The actuating element is equipped with a stop and the blocking element is equipped with an counter-stop for blocking. Before the blocking is produced, the power transmission element releases the tappet, and after release, the blocking element, driven by its pretensioning, causes its counter-stop to fall onto the stop of the actuating element in a catch position.

  • Patent number: 6739163
Abstract: A motor vehicle locking device with a motor vehicle lock (1) with a connection coupling (2), a lock actuation unit (3) located at a distance from the lock, with a connection coupling (5), and a shaft (7) as the coupling between the connection couplings (2, 5). The shaft (7) has an outer jacket (8) which passes essentially completely between the connection couplings (2, 5), and which normally cannot be turned in the connection coupling (2), and the outer jacket (8) is coupled to a blocking element (9) so that, when the outside jacket (8) is forcibly turned around its lengthwise axis, the blocking element (9) blocks the force transmission element (10) of the connection coupling (2), which element is connected to the shaft (7) or mounted on it, before actuation of the lock mechanism of the motor vehicle lock (1) by the shaft (7) can take place.
