  • Patent number: 11502463
Abstract: A connection apparatus for connecting electrical devices, in particular electric motors to an AC system, has a housing which has at least one housing portion. A plurality of first and second conductor terminals are arranged in the at least one housing portion. Each conductor terminal has at least one or two or more individual terminals and a configuration plug. The configuration plug electrically connects individual or a plurality of the first and/or second conductor terminals in at least two different positions in order to obtain at least two different circuit types. The configuration plug is rotatably or slidably guided in or on the housing or at least on the at least one housing portion. Due to this relative movement, plug can be rotated and/or displaced into at least two different positions, in order to provide the at least two different circuit types.

  • Publication number: 20190123493
Abstract: An assembly for connecting a cable with a circuit board includes a circuit board and a connecting device. The connecting device has a housing with connecting contacts for connecting conductor ends of a cable wire to the circuit board. The housing is connected to the circuit board by mechanical connectors or latches and by the connecting contacts, each of which extend through a base plate of the housing for conductive connection with contact areas of the circuit board. Thus, the connecting device directly connects the conductor ends of a cable to the circuit board via the connecting device and its single or multi-part contacts.

  • Patent number: 9081033
Abstract: A testing arrangement is provided for testing the electrical circuits of an assembly of terminal blocks arranged in side-to-side relation, each of the terminal blocks including two mutually-insulated collinearly-arranged horizontal bus bar sections that are normally electrically connected by first and second pairs of leaf spring contacts arranged above and below the bus bar sections, respectively. During the testing operation, the testing device may be arranged either above or below the assembly, and an insulating test plug on the testing device is inserted either vertically downwardly from above, or upwardly from below, the terminal block, thereby to disengage one pair of contacts. A dummy plug is vertically inserted in the opposite direction to disengage the other pair of contacts. The remote ends of the bus bar sections are provided with clamping devices for connection with the bare ends of insulated conductors, respectively.

  • Patent number: 6027380
Abstract: A locking device serves to lock an electronic module to a bank of terminal blocks, characterized by a body member having at least one pair of integral parallel spaced legs that extend downwardly within a corresponding T-shaped vertical groove contained in one end of a first one of the terminal blocks. The legs are resiliently biased apart and are provided at their free ends with hook or catch portions that extend laterally outwardly from opposite sides of the legs into corresponding locking recesses contained in opposite side walls of the groove, respectively, thereby to lock the body member with the bank of terminal blocks. The adjacent end of the body member contains a longitudinal chamber that slidably receives a locking member that is displaceable between retracted unlocked and extended locking positions relative to the body member.
