  • Publication number: 20120030663
Abstract: A tenant multiplexer in an administrative tenant of a multi-tenant software architecture can call an administrative agent in the administrative tenant and receive, from the administrative agent, an action framework and a trusted connection protocol for accessing each of the plurality of client tenants. The trusted connection protocol can establish, without tenant-specific authentication information, a trusted system connection to an update agent in each of the plurality of client tenants. An action framework can be simultaneously implemented using the update agent of each of at least a subset of the plurality of client tenants under control of the multiplexer via the trusted system connection to begin execution of the software process for the at least the subset of client tenants.

  • Patent number: 7874801
Abstract: A device for measuring the displacement travel of a hydraulic displacement mechanism for blades of an impeller of an axial-flow fan, wherein the displacement mechanism includes as components a displacement cylinder and a piston rod having a piston, one of the components being axially displaceable and the other component not being axially displaceable. Respective spindles of the blades are secured to a displacement disk to which is connected the axially displaceable component of the displacement mechanism. An oil transfer element surrounds an extension of the piston rod that extends out of the displacement cylinder. A magnetostrictive displacement-measuring device that includes a sensor housing with a wave guide, sensor head, and an annular magnet is coupled to the displacement mechanism. The sensor housing and the sensor head are connected to the oil transfer element. Either the oil transfer element or one of the displacement mechanism components is axially displaceable relative to the other component.

  • Patent number: 7545523
Abstract: In a method and system for processing document data in a document processing system, document data are generated on a document generation computer. Document data are transmitted from the document generation computer to a document processing computer. Processed data are forwarded to a document output system. To optimize control of document output, in the processing computer control data are added to or removed from transmitted document data. A control buffer file for the added control data and a document buffer file for the document data are automatically formed and stored by a control device program running on the processing computer. The output system is monitored with the control data by a monitoring computer.

  • Patent number: 7539627
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods for managing a workload varying in time applicable to a help desk. A future workload is forecast from historical workload data. A first analysis result is built on an earlier section of historical data, and a second analysis result is built with more recent historical data. The two results are combined to yield a workload forecast. Further, the resources needed for covering a forecast workload value are calculated automatically by equating generic expressions for the resources demanded for servicing the forecast workload and the resources offered for handling the workload.

  • Publication number: 20090030157
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for producing mono-, oligo- and/or polyborosilazanes that contain carbon. According to said method (i) a one-component precursor compound is reacted with ammonia or an organic amino in an aminolysis step, (ii) a reaction mixture is extracted at least once from the aminolysis in a continuous extraction step using an organic solvent, (iii) ammonia or a phase containing organoamine that accumulates during the extraction process is discarded, recovered or at least partly recirculated and (iv) mono-, oligo- and/or polyborosilazanes containing carbon are obtained from the extraction phase containing the solvent.

  • Patent number: 7303732
Abstract: A tubular reactor characterized by having short static mixing elements separated by coalescing zones is used to conduct multiphase liquid/liquid reactions. Small droplets of one of the phases are dispersed into the other phase by the static mixing elements. These droplets coalesce and at least partially phase separate as the mixture passes through the subsequent coalescing zone. The tubular reactor is particularly suitable for nitrating organic compounds while forming low levels of improperly nitrated by-products and low levels of nitrophenolics.
