    Abstract: A holding device for a fuel injector has a mounting device to accommodate the fuel injector, and a fixing device which has a first part and a second part, which are supported in a guidance in a displaceable manner with respect to the mounting device. The second part is fixable on the guidance and between the first part and the second part of the fixing device an elastic element is situated in such a way that it is in a position to press the first part of the fixing device against a fuel injector situated in the mounting device, in order to fix it in the holding device. Also described is a clamping device for fuel injectors having at least one holding device, which is fastened elastically to the clamping device.

    Abstract: A device for measuring the particle concentration in an aerosol using a flow tube includes a cavity in which there is a sleeve, the cavity branching off from the flow tube. The sleeve includes, at its end facing away from the flow tube, a collar. The collar encircles the periphery of the sleeve and is fastened at the periphery of the cavity. There is one or more inflow openings in the collar. At least one outflow opening is in an end of the sleeve, which end extends into the flow tube. A measuring chamber is also included in the cavity on the side of the sleeve facing away from the flow tube.

    Abstract: A method for selecting a procedure for determining the injection time of individual injection operations of a fuel injector, which may be supplied with pressurized fuel via a feed line, includes activating the fuel injector using various known activation durations in the vicinity of a predefined operating point of the fuel injector; detecting the pressure curve over time in the feed line for a number of injection operations; evaluating the detected pressure curves over time using at least two different procedures for determining the injection time from the particular pressure curve; determining the correlation between the determined injection times and the particular activation period; selecting the procedure with the highest correlation.
