  • Patent number: 11952163
Abstract: A container includes an outlet defining an opening that is in fluid communication with an interior portion of the container, the outlet having a central axis. The container also a neck portion having an upper structural ring lying in a first plane that is substantially perpendicular to the central axis, and a lower structural ring lying in a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the central axis, wherein the first plane and the second plane being separated by a vertical distance. The neck portion may have a gusset extending between the upper structural ring and the lower structural ring, and the gusset may have a plane of symmetry, wherein the central axis lies in the plane of symmetry. The container further includes a shoulder beneath the neck portion, a waist section beneath the shoulder, and a base beneath the waist section.

  • Patent number: 10551060
Abstract: Systems and processes of providing novel thermal energy sources for hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) reactors are described herein. According to various implementations, the systems and processes use concentrated solar thermal energy from a focused high-energy beam to provide sufficient energy for driving the HTL biomass-to-biocrude process. In addition, other implementations convert biowaste, such as municipal biosolids and grease and food waste, to biocrude using anaerobic digesters, and a portion of the biogas generated by the digesters is used to produce the thermal and/or electrical energy used in the HTL reactor for the biomass-to-biocrude process. Furthermore, alternative implementations may include a hybrid system that uses biogas and solar radiation to provide sufficient thermal energy for the HTL reactor.
