    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for picking up and setting down objects capable of being picked up, such as plant pots, from or onto a surface for the objects. The device comprises a movable frame such as a forklift truck, a guide on the frame, a fork and a drive with at least one spacer which during use defines a minimal space between the fork and the surface. The invention also relates to an assembly. This comprises a fork which is at least connectable to a guide on a movable frame and which is adapted to carry at least one of the objects, and at least one spacer which during use defines a space between the fork and the surface. The invention also relates to a method for picking up objects from a surface with a fork on a movable frame.
