  • Publication number: 20130040066
Abstract: A method for the application of at least two different powder coating layers to a substrate comprising the steps of application of a first powder coating layer followed by the application of a second powder coating layer, without any substantial curing of the first powder coating layer prior to the application of the second powder coating layer, followed by the simultaneous curing of the first powder coating layer and the second powder coating layer, wherein the first powder coating layer is applied to the substrate using a corona charging system and the second powder coating layer is applied to the substrate using a tribo charging system, or the first powder coating layer is applied to the substrate using a tribo charging system and the second powder coating layer is applied to the substrate using a corona charging system and the first powder coating layer and second powder coating layer have an opposite electrostatic polarity.

  • Patent number: 7788601
Abstract: Movement of a pointer or a window on a display of a personal computer, mobile telephone or digital television set, which allows an object to be selected, is controlled using an orthogonal set of keys. Motion of the pointer or window closely resembles the behaviour of a body of fixed mass obeying Newton's second law of motion. Movement of the pointer may used to predict which object the user wishes to select. Once a prediction has been made, the object is marked and the user may select the marked object, although the user need not act on the prediction.

  • Patent number: 7062717
Abstract: Digital television allows access to the Internet. However, arrow keys on a remote control are not suited for navigating web pages containing non-uniformly spaced selectable hypertext links. A web-browser or operating system window manager may be modified to allow movement of a focus along a co-ordinate system defined by the arrow keys on the remote control and to permit the focus to be positioned in-between the links. Thus, movement of the focus from one link to another is intuitive and predictable.
