  • Patent number: 5592138
Abstract: The device comprises a winding support (1) which is made of an electrically insulating material and which comprises a coil former (3), provided with a through-opening (9), and a core of a soft magnetic material which consists of two parts (15) and which comprises a limb (19) projecting through the opening of the coil former and a yoke (17) at least partly enclosing the winding support. The two core parts are attached to one another by means of a clamping bracket (21) which is made of a resilient material and which is formed as a closed ring. The construction of the clamping bracket (21) is very inexpensive and it can be very simply mounted on the assembly formed by the core (15) and the winding support (1) in that the clamping bracket consists of one piece of a resilient material which is shaped as a strip comprising barb-shaped free ends (23), which strip is bent so as to form a ring, the facing free ends engaging one another so that the ring is closed.

  • Patent number: 5140291
Abstract: An inductive device comprises a soft magnetic core which consists of two E-shaped core halves (1), each of which comprises three parallel limbs (5, 7) which are interconnected by a yoke (9). The core halves (1) are arranged against one another by way of the free ends of the limbs (5, 7), a coil former (3) being provided around the central limbs (7). The outer limbs (5) extend between an upper boundary plane (25) and lower boundary plane (27), which planes extend parallel to the longitudinal directions of the limbs (5, 7) and the yokes (9), the distance between said planes being determined by the height (x) of the outer limbs (5) which is greater than the height (y) of the central limbs (7).

  • Patent number: 4596974
Abstract: A transformer comprising an outer coil former (1) having a first outer end portion (13), to which is secured a resilient device (49) which exerts a force on a first core part (47) directed towards a second outer end portion (15) of the outer coil former. Within the outer coil former (1) is arranged an inner coil former (3) having a first inner end portion (25), which is received by a recess in the first outer end portion (13) in a manner such that the resilient device engages only the first outer end portion and the first core part (47) but does not engage the first inner end portion. As a result, the resilient device not only holds the first core part in position, but also prevents the two coil formers (1,3) from moving away from each other.

  • Patent number: 4565988
Abstract: Electric coil including a coil form having means at respective ends thereof for carrying respective soldering lugs, respective magnetizable cores disposed on the coil form at the respective ends thereof, and springs formed with angled-off ends, the springs respectively engaging the magnetizable cores at the respective ends of the coil form, the carrying means and said angled-off ends of the springs, respectively, being formed with respective laterally extending projections and recesses snappable over the projections so as to urge the cores towards one another.
