  • Patent number: 11660438
Abstract: A connector for facilitating fluid transfer includes first fitting, a second fitting, a rigid conduit, a first retaining connector, and a second retaining connector. The rigid conduit includes a flexible tube surrounded by a deformable sleeve. The rigid conduit is connected on a first end to the first fitting and on a second end to the second fitting. The first retaining connector connects the first fitting to the rigid conduit and the second retaining connector connects the second fitting to the rigid conduit. A lumen extends through the rigid conduit and is capable of being sealed. The rigid conduit and the flexible tube are capable of being severed while maintaining the seal of the lumen to separate the first fitting from the second fitting. The connections of the first fitting and the second fitting to the rigid conduit are capable of withstanding at least 1 bar of pressure without leaking.

  • Patent number: 11274780
Abstract: A protective device (5, 5?, 5?, 5??, 5??) is provided for a hose clip (4) that connects a hose end (2) to a hose connection (3). The protective device includes a protective body (8, 8?, 8?, 8??, 8??) made of a plastic. In the assembled state, the protective body (8, 8?, 8?, 8??, 8??) surrounds the circumference of the hose clip (4) and accommodates the hose clip (4) at least in its clamping region via a radially oriented molding (32), and covers the hose clip (4) over the width thereof extending in the longitudinal direction of the hose connection (3). The protective body (8, 8?, 8?, 8??, 8??) has ring segments (9, 10) that can be connected to one another at their free ends (12, 13), and the segments are connected moveably to one another at their ends (14, 17) facing away from the free ends (12, 13).

  • Patent number: 10493406
Abstract: A filter module (1) has a housing (2) formed from a plastic and a filter (3) made from a plastic is arranged in the housing (2). The housing (2) is bonded adhesively to the filter (3) by an adhesive (15) via a first bonding surface (7, 18) made from a first plastic and via a second bonding surface (14, 19, 21) made from a second plastic. The adhesive bonding of the first bonding surface (7, 18) and the second bonding surface (14, 19, 21) is accomplished via an intermediate piece (10, 20) with the bonding surfaces (14, 18, 21) made from a plastic that is identical to or different from the first plastic. At least one of the bonding surfaces (7, 18, 19, 14, 21) has been activated by plasma or corona pre-treatment prior to the adhesive bonding.

  • Patent number: 10166511
Abstract: A hollow fiber module (1, 1?) is made by inserting a bundle of hollow fibers (3) into a housing (2, 2?) that has an end closed by a cap (17). A fluid first component (27) that can assume a solid state is introduced into a space adjacent the cap (17) and forms a spacer into which ends of the hollow fibers (6, 7) project. A fluid curable second component (4) is introduced before the first component (27) via a second inflow (28) and is cured to form a sealing layer (9) that embeds the bundle of hollow fibers (3) and seals it with respect to the adjacent housing wall (29, 29?). The cap (17) is removed from the module housing (2, 2?) along with the first component (27) and ends of the hollow fibers (6) embedded in the first component (27).
