  • Publication number: 20220034258
Abstract: In one aspect of the present disclosure, a process for producing dean energy from oil bearing reservoirs comprises the steps of: utilizing in-situ combustion to combust oil within an oil-bearing formation so as to generate thermal energy; producing the generated thermal energy to a surface using a purpose-built closed loop well system, the closed loop well system comprising a plurality of horizontal lateral circulation wells to circulate a working fluid between the ground-level surface and the subterranean oil-bearing formation so as to capture the generated thermal energy in the oil-bearing formation and transfer the captured generated thermal energy to the surface; and producing a plurality of combustion products to the surface using a plurality of production wells. A system for operating the process of producing clean energy from oil bearing reservoirs is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10743732
Abstract: A system, method, and a physical figure for presenting user progress in a virtual space are disclosed. The presented user progress may indicate user advancements in the virtual space and/or user development in the real-world. Based on information indicating such user progress, character representation may be determined to reflect the user progress for presentation on the physical figure. In some implementations, specific location(s) on the physical figure may be determined for presenting specific aspect(s) of user progress in the virtual space. The physical figure may receive the determined character representation information and present the character represent on one or more screens thereon.

  • Patent number: 10725607
Abstract: A system and method for providing a virtual space determines a representation of the virtual space based on information defining a personality of a character within the virtual space and/or information indicating a user's personality. The system and method may also determine the information defining the character's personality based on information regarding the user and/or information regarding the character. In some examples, the system and method may further determine information to facilitate a development of the user based on the information describing the user's personality. The system and method may also determine the user's personality based on information indicating user's personality. In some examples, the user's personality may be determined based on user's experiences within the virtual space. In some other examples, the user's personality may be determined based on information regarding the user that is acquired from sources external to the virtual space.

  • Publication number: 20200134959
Abstract: A food distribution system comprising an electronic locking food storage device, wherein users interact with a software application to purchase food items from the system, track their orders, and can view multiple container systems and their locations when selecting items to purchase. Controllers and stockers of the food sales system can use the application to remotely lock and control the food sales system, monitor inventory, and review sales data from the purchases.

  • Publication number: 20190314732
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electronic toy that can convey a personality-driven emotional response based on sensor and/or other input. The toy may comprise a housing having a character likeness and one or more electronic components disposed within the housing. The electronic components may include one or a plurality of sensors that can detect movement and other stimuli and a speaker to output sounds that mimic emotion. The toy may also register movements and other stimuli and log experiences that inform future reactions and personality. The sounds produced by the toy can be programmed by users or external content creators through downloading audio files corresponding to certain movements. The sensory cues can range from simple or complex (e.g., as the toy is shaken multiple times, the responses may become progressively angrier, or progressively friendlier if the toy is patted on the head) making every such electronic toy completely unique.

  • Patent number: 10229608
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to physical figures having wireless communication devices implanted therein to capture evidence relating to real-world activities that may be required to progress in real-world and/or virtual spaces. For example, the wireless communication devices implanted in the physical figures may confirm proximity to other users and capture evidence indicating that progress has been achieved in real-world missions that may involve teamwork, competition, outdoor activities, and/or other real-world interaction. In one embodiment, the physical figures may have one or more sensors (e.g., accelerometers, gyroscopes, etc.) that can measure activities performed with the physical figures such that the wireless communication devices implanted therein may exchange the sensor measurements in relation to the cooperative and/or competitive interaction therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5185122
Abstract: Gamma radiation leaving the surface of a radioactive materials storage vessel is measured and monitored using a plurality of gamma ray absorbing calorimeters. The gamma ray energy absorbed is converted into heat and such heat is measured or indicated for the purpose of monitoring expected radioactive decay processes of the stored radioactive materials. Material leakage or removal from storage is detected and defined by deviations from the normal expected decay in gamma radiation. Such deviation or lack of deviation, as the case may be, provide the desired accountability of the radioactive materials. Since there can be several bands of gamma ray radiation, both flux and its energy level may be determined by using different gamma absorbing materials in the calorimeters selected for the known possible energy levels of the decaying radioactive material.
