Publication number: 20050281643Abstract: A hopper car of a dump train for transporting material includes a hopper and a conveyor for loading the hopper with material. The loading conveyor includes a frame, a first pulley, a second pulley, and a continuous belt. The frame is attached to the car above the hopper. The first pulley is attached at one end of the frame adjacent an end of the hopper car. The first pulley has a motor positioned therein such that when the motor is operated the first pulley is rotated. The second pulley is attached at another end of the frame adjacent another end of the hopper car. The continuous belt is positioned on the first and second pulleys such that rotation of the first motorized pulley moves the continuous belt around the frame. A plow assembly is positioned on the frame and is operable to screed material off the continuous belt and into the hopper. The plow assembly includes a rotatable rod attached to the frame and includes a plow attached to the rotatable rod by an arm and a joint.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 1, 2005Publication date: December 22, 2005Inventors: Christopher Villar, Steven Orrell, Thomas Schwertner, Clarence Wilganowski, John Messer

Patent number: 5861576Abstract: A combination of a cable raceway section with a cable exit box, wherein the raceway section is C shaped with one side having a gap in it. A cable exit box at the gap in the side of the raceway section. The box has an opening in one wall overlying the gap in the side of the raceway section and both the gap and the opening are of a length enabling a wide radius turn of cable out of the raceway section and into the box. The box is deeper than the raceway. The box has an open interior defined by sides shaped for supporting a wiring device in the opening, to which wiring device cables exiting from the raceway section are attached.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 1997Date of Patent: January 19, 1999Assignee: Mono-Systems, Inc.Inventors: Daniel A. Patent number: 4427729Abstract: A method and apparatus for the automated mass production of glue-chipped glass having a well-defined uniform chipped glass pattern is disclosed which includes pretreating sheets of glass to roughen their surface and then apply a desired amount of glue in a uniform thin layer over the glass by delivering a glue solution to the nip of a pair of rollers where a reservoir of glue is maintained while circulating a heated fluid through the rollers to maintain the glue at a desired temperature. By providing a desired space between the nip of the rollers, the glass sheets being automatically conveyed are coated with a correct amount and thickness of glue layer. The apparatus includes an animal glue solution source (50) and a conveyor (10) for automatically conveying the glass from a glass treating station (20) to an application station (B) whereat a pair of rollers (24, 26) are arranged with a nip (34) therebetween defined by a predetermined space (32) between the rollers.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 1982Date of Patent: January 24, 1984Inventor: John A.
