  • Publication number: 20230368084
Abstract: A search system that receives and returns results for split stays is described. The search system receives, from a searching end-user, a listing request specifying a multiple-day length of stay parameter. The search system determines that the multiple-day length of stay parameter of the listing request transgresses a minimum length of stay threshold and, in response, generates a combined listing that includes a first listing of the plurality of listings associated with a first portion of the multiple-day length of stay parameter and a second listing of the plurality of listings associated with a second portion of the multiple-day length of stay parameter. The combined listing is presented with one or more other listings of the plurality of listings that match the listing request in a ranked order.

  • Patent number: 11816686
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating sellability and cancellability scores for selling objects on an electronic marketplace. An embodiment operates by receiving, from a mobile device, an image including an object for sale and determining information associated with the object for sale. Information associated with pre-identified objects is determined from information associated with pre-identified objects, where each of the pre-identified objects corresponds to the object for sale. A sellability score and/or a cancellability score is generated based at least in part on the information associated with the object for sale and the information associated with the pre-identified objects. The sellability score and the cancellability score are further provided to users.

  • Patent number: 11793505
Abstract: A first end of a wire is transluminally advanced to a location adjacent an atrium of a heart of a subject, while a second end of the wire remains disposed outside of the subject. From the location, the first end of the wire is penetrated through tissue into the atrium. A capture device is transluminally advanced into the atrium. Using the capture device, the first end of the wire is captured and pulled out of the subject. From the first end of the wire, a first anchor is tracked along the wire into the atrium, and is anchored to an annulus of a valve of the heart. A second anchor is advanced into the atrium, and is anchored to the annulus. Subsequently, the annulus is reshaped by applying tension between the first and second anchors.

  • Patent number: 11795360
Abstract: A method for producing a form-stable phase-change material to nucleate sugar alcohols includes directionally freezing a slurry of solid chitosan and solvent and additives, providing a frozen slurry including unidirectional pillars of frozen solvent that force suspended solid particles into interstices, exposing the frozen slurry to conditions causing sublimation of the solvent of the frozen slurry to remove frozen solvent and provide a body having pillars of vacancies therein, sintering the body to provide a scaffold including the pillars of vacancies therein, graphitizing the scaffold by heating in argon, treating the scaffold with aqueous base, and adding a molten sugar alcohol phase-change material to the scaffold such that the molten phase-change material is drawn into the pillars of vacancies by capillary action to provide the form-stable phase-change material having reduced hysteresis of the melting point of the sugar alcohol phase-change material.

  • Publication number: 20230329697
Abstract: A system is transluminally advanced into a subject. A first portion of the system is positioned adjacent a cardiovascular tissue of the subject, the system including wires disposed at the first portion. The first portion is stabilized at the cardiovascular tissue by positioning a distal portion of the system against a cardiovascular wall of the subject. While the distal portion of the system remains against the cardiovascular wall, the wires are induced to bow laterally such that the wires press against the cardiovascular tissue. While the wires remain pressed against the cardiovascular tissue, the shape of the wires is radiographically imaged. While (i) the first portion remains stabilized, and (ii) the wires remain pressed against the cardiovascular tissue, at least a portion of the system is transluminally implanted at the cardiovascular tissue, facilitated by the imaging. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Patent number: 11744573
Abstract: A system is transluminally advanced into the heart of a subject. A first portion of the system is positioned through a native valve of the heart, the system including wires disposed at the first portion. The first portion is stabilized at the native valve by positioning a distal portion of the system within a blood vessel of the subject. While the distal portion of the system remains within the blood vessel, the wires are induced to bow laterally such that the wires press against the native valve. While the wires remain pressed against the native valve, the shape of the wires is radiographically imaged. An anchor is transluminally anchored to tissue of the native valve, facilitated by the imaging. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Publication number: 20230202660
Abstract: An ice protection system for an aircraft includes one or more heaters configured to be coupled to a surface of a wing of the aircraft. The ice protection system also includes a controller configured to, in response to a first determination indicating presence of an icing condition, determine a setpoint temperature for a first location of an outer surface of the wing configured to be heated by a heater of the one or more heaters. The controller is also configured to control power provided to the heater based on the setpoint temperature. The setpoint temperature for the first location is determined to cause a second location of the outer surface of the wing, which is heated by the heater and is located at a particular distance from the first location, to remain above a threshold temperature based on a projected temperature profile of the outer surface heated by the heater.

  • Patent number: 11679907
Abstract: In the alcohol market or in the liquor industries, it is common to find that the packaging activity is carried out in glass bottles and on some occasions in PET (POLYETHYLENE TEREPHALATE) and PP (POLYPROPYLENE) type containers. In the case of these latter packages, there are problems of conservation of quality, aroma and flavor, since they give off particles because they are not completely resistant to alcohol. Now, glass bottles are the most used since thanks to their 10 barrier property they preserve the flavor and quality of these kinds of drinks for longer, maintaining the level of alcohol, aroma and flavor from bottling but having serious transport and packaging problems.
