Abstract: Methods of operating radio communications devices may include accepting user input at the radio communications device of a streaming time to initiate media streaming, and accepting user input at the radio communications device of a network address of a streaming server to provide media streaming content. At the streaming time, initiating media streaming from the streaming server identified by the network address may be initiated over a radio link. Related devices are also discussed.

Abstract: An electronic equipment is provided that includes a battery, function circuitry that carries out one or more functions using power drawn from the battery, and a power assessment circuit that assesses power requirements of the function circuitry in relation to a function specified to be performed from among the one or more functions. The electronic equipment further includes a battery monitor circuit that monitors power available from the battery, and a battery advisor circuit, operatively coupled to the power assessment circuit and the battery monitor circuit. The battery advisor provides a recommendation indicative of whether the power available from the battery is sufficient for the function circuitry to carry out the specified function.

Abstract: A content recording device includes a wireless communication interface that is capable of communicating with a portable communication device. A portable communication device includes an application program for data exchange with and controlling a content recording device. The portable communication device is capable of controlling the content recording device, and is capable of receiving previously recorded content from the content recording device for playback on the portable communication device. The portable communication device and content recording device interact to provide a single mobile interface for the content recording device.

Abstract: In a system embodiment, a client-server computing architecture (i) receives defining a supplier's claim for payment for obsolete goods, (ii) receives input scheduling an audit of the supplier's claim, (iii) receives input defining one or more results of the audit, and (iv) presents output reconciling the supplier's claim with the audit results. System supports approving payment and defining disposal instructions for the obsolete goods. A method embodiment includes establishing a buyer-supplier contractual arrangement, communicating to the supplier that a portion of the quantity of the goods are obsolete, receiving an electronic claim from the supplier requesting payment for the obsolete goods, electronically scheduling an audit of the supplier's claim, auditing the supplier's claim and recording the audit results electronically, and paying the supplier for the obsolete goods. A payment price for the obsolete goods may be negotiated.

Abstract: The cable connection is provided for a metal-encapsulated, gas-insulated, high-voltage switching installation. It has a connection enclosure (23) which surrounds connecting parts which are connected to the active parts of the gas-insulated, high-voltage switching installation, and cable connection encapsulation (18) which is connected to the connection enclosure (23) and surrounds a cable termination (14) with an end bolt (15). In addition, it has an electrically conductive connecting piece which is inserted between the end bolt (15) and the connecting parts. It is intended to create a cable connection for a metal-encapsulated, gas-insulated, high-voltage switching installation, which cable connection makes it possible to fit and remove the high-voltage cable easily and quickly and makes it possible to ground this cable reliably and in a manner which can be installed easily.
