  • Patent number: 10730413
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat base connected to a seat back. The seat base has a cushion portion and a support portion for supporting the cushion portion. The cushion portion is movable between a seating condition where the cushion portion forms a seating surface and non-seating condition where the cushion portion is tilted forward relative to the seat back about a forward end portion of the support portion. A rail system is mounted to the support portion. In the seating condition the rail system is covered by the cushion portion, and in the non-seating condition the rail system is configured to have mounted thereto an associated child car seat. The rail system is configured to move the associated child seat along a lateral direction of the vehicle seat assembly between a first outboard seating location and a center seating location defined by the seat base.

  • Patent number: 8490935
Abstract: Some embodiments generally relate to a hook assembly, including a pivotable hook body adapted to rotate about a pivot axis running in a generally vertical direction. According to some embodiments, the hook assembly can further include at least one hook portion including a generally vertical recess defined by a portion of the top side of the hook body extending downwardly toward a bottom side. The assembly can further include a pivot member for pivoting the pivotable hook body about the pivot axis; and a frame member adapted to receive the pivotable hook body in a stowed configuration or one or more deployed configurations. Furthermore, frame member is adapted to fix the hook body in a pivotal relation about the pivot axis and can include an indexing opening or seat for defining one or more indexed orientations such as a stowed orientation or a deployed orientation.

  • Patent number: 7425025
Abstract: A lock actuator assembly for a locking mechanism of a vehicle door permits either manual or power actuation thereof. The lock actuator assembly includes a housing having a pair of brackets attached thereto, an actuator slidably secured within the housing, and a solenoid disposed below the housing and operatively attached to the actuator. The solenoid is operable to move the actuator between a locked position in which the locking mechanism is locked, and an unlocked position in which the locking mechanism is unlocked. The housing of the lock actuator assembly defines a first plane and the actuator defines a second plane which is substantially parallel to the first plane.

  • Patent number: 7204529
Abstract: An lock actuator assembly for a vehicle door permits either manual or power actuation thereof. The assembly includes a housing with an upwardly-facing recess and a hollow passage formed therethrough. The assembly also includes an actuator with an upper portion extending through the housing and into the recess. The actuator is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The assembly may include a solenoid located below the housing and operable to move the actuator. The housing may include side walls on opposite sides of the recess, with portions of the side walls located close to the actuator on both sides thereof, to resist unauthorized acess to the actuator. Selected portions of the housing side walls may extend inwardly into the recess to form blocking bosses which are situated in close proximity to the actuator, to partially block access thereto.
