  • Publication number: 20240137291
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for work from home solutions according to various embodiments of the invention. These solutions accurately diagnose connectivity issue locations and severity from any, some, or all points in a network framework. Embodiments of these solutions may also use artificial intelligence and machine learning to process customer quality-of-experience (QoE) feedback and other relevant indicators. The solutions may improve network connectivity based on these measurements and processes.

  • Patent number: 7702310
Abstract: A communications management network for managing subscribers' communication sessions. The management network includes multiple sets of session management modules or servers (e.g., Intelligent Service Control Points), a services hub and a data warehouse. The network may also include a gateway for routing text messages. Each set of session management modules includes a plurality of modules, and each subscriber is assigned to one set of modules with one of the modules as a primary and another as a secondary or backup. Subscribers are grouped according to geographical area (e.g., by zip code, by area code), service area or other criteria, and all subscribers within a group are assigned to the same primary and secondary modules. Management of subscribers' communication sessions is load balanced by reassigning groups of subscribers to different sets of session management modules. Each module tracks account statuses (e.g., prepaid services balances) for its assigned subscribers.

  • Patent number: 6474684
Abstract: A non-hybrid pyrotechnic filterless inflator, i.e., gas generator, for an automotive passive restraint air bag having a generally discoidally-shaped pressure vessel having a diameter that preferably is greater than or about equal to its height formed of a cup-shaped closure cap and a base member and having at least one exhaust nozzle for directing gaseous products out of the inflator and into the air bag. The pressure vessel contains two separated and independently initiated initiator assemblies. By initiating either one or both initiator assemblies, the inflator can generate a modulated gas output between a first minimum output level and a second maximum output level in response to passenger and driver conditions.

  • Patent number: 5294912
Abstract: A long or triple jump foul detector system is disclosed which very accurately detects a foul by an athlete when a portion of an athlete's shoe crosses over a foul line when beginning the jump. A laser beam is emitted parallel to and directly above the foul line. A laser beam detector detects interruption of the laser beam by the athlete's shoe and a foul detector provides a foul indication. An audible foul indication is delayed so as not to interfere with the athlete's jump. Also, the system may provide additional detection of an athlete's foot crossing a training line positioned in front of the foul line. Furthermore, the system distinguishes between a relatively quick interruption of the beam caused by the athlete's shoe when jumping, and a relatively slow interruption of the beam which may result such as by a judge placing his or her hand in the beam when measuring a jump.
